Despite what the text says, do not put in the dashes. This is what finally got it to work for me.
Bough off of Steam, although I doubt that has anything to do with it.

Thats funny cause I got mine off steam as well, I put in dashes for the first code and it was accepted, the other 2 however were not, and one of them did not have dashes...
