Should be on planets that the Reapers are heavily deployed on, but at the end of the SP campaign that's pretty much all of them, so I'm thinking it could be anywhere, but most likely on some of the homeworlds. Maybe.

First, apologies to Asbestos, who was trying to compile all this stuff the first time around, and we totally hijacked that thread into solving the OTS riddle.

Second, and I said this in the riddle thread, there are two possiblities.  OTS actually knows something and has been dropping clues in some of his posts.  Or he's just having some forum fun in a creative way, and using vague enough information that fits well enough that it's believable, even if it's all conjecture on his part.

For now I'm going with he knows something.  Why, because it's fun to believe and it's been pretty entertaining participating in a couple of the prophecy threads. 

I just wasted the last 30 minutes (the ones I should have spent all warm and toasty in my bed), rereading some of the OTS prophecies that have popped up.  What I have seen is:

Collectors as enemy
 - Comments in this thread by him also use the word Retaliate, point to new Turians, and suggest that guns will be able to be fired in different ways (2 comments) - "I foresee a great future for your weapons, may they soon fire many different ways."  "May the elements of death guide you, child! Weapons are fueled in many ways but only one path allows you difference."
 - But he also insisted that he did not work at Bioware, nor did he have friends at Bioware

A fix for Geth Farming
 - Hints that White will no longer be suitable for Geth farming, and specifically that a Geth grenade class could be part of the answer. 

Firefight Pack Predition
 - The only confirmed prediction I know of.  Seemed to know the names of two of the guns from the Firefight pack before it was announced.

New Sentinel Prediction
 - A prediction for a Sentinel with Dominate, Sabotage and Defense Matrix named the Eclipse.  Hints at a Mercenaries themed character.

Retaliation DLC name Prediction
  - Asbestos started a thread about the OTS predictions, and OTS dropped a riddle into the middle of it.  The solution to the riddle was Retaliation, a word that will bring joy and is "a name to something everyone wants."

That's the spirit.  Tonight has been as much fun as I've had on these forums for weeks. 

If they really want to mess with geth farming, they need to do a lot more than simply add a grenade class. I've done a number of fbwgp farming matches, and you end up with grenadiers in those too. Worst case sceario, duck away for a second and let the grenade detonate, then back into cover. It might mess up some farming runs for less experienced players, but by and large it would typically just result in the grenadiers being some of the 1st tier targets.

I don't save up untill am sure when a DLC iscoming and usually not then either still got URs to get anyway and... is that  a bloody Crusader 7... damn.

So anyway how to save up credits but still keep a steady supply of consumables and still use all said consumables in matches?

If you're referring to my manifest then the answer is that I had saved up a lot of consumables before I started saving credits. The only consumables I've been using a lot of are disruptor ammo and shotgun amps. Also buy a JEP now and then.



I just noticed that Major Nelson of Xbox hasn't got anything listed for Mass Effect in his upcoming content list. Therefore the DLC could be as far away as the 25th, Bioware can have a operation tie in with it the weekend before that. If that's the case, then we may not be getting strong clues in Wednesday's operation announcement.

I'm just maintaining a minimum of 2 million.  I had saved up to 5.1 mil, ran out of consumables, spent 3 million, now I'll start building back up again.  No matter what, I'm going to have more credits when the next DLC comes out than I've ever had before for one.

im at a cool 7 mil now. spend a few here and there to remax out my rockets and medigels after every 3 or 4 rounds with recruit packs or JEPs. im just ready for a new faction and have been for about a good 2 months now. new guns and characters are cool and all but they only last so long and at some point are somewhat the same. and yes im sure a new factions would grow tiring soon as well. i just need SOMETHING to keep me playing right now

I wonder what would be missing from the DLC that will require a patch. I also wonder what else will get broken. Hopefully I'll stop getting level 4 ammo with new characters to unlock instead.

Well, depends.

I saved up only 1m for Earth DLC. After my spending spree I had all the new classes and the new guns almost maxed. But if we factor in gear and Ultra Rares, then I've been spending at least 5m till now and haven't seen them.

25 mil would account for 2 new ultra-rares, 6 classes and 2 rares.
