You think anyone who works at Bioware really cares if we get a Biotic Volus?

Honestly it's what I've wanted since the demo came out almost a year ago.

It is not clear if Volus in MP is indeed what he meant, but have faith.

Personally I have a hard time believing that this will ever happen even though I've convinced myself about a lot of other things I think we'll get. Simply because I don't know how they will fit in, gameplay wise.

Perhaps we will get the carcass of one smeared all over one of the upcoming maps.

That's stupid.

Volus are sentient medicine balls/Halo Grunts.

They have no biotic power. Or fighting power, really. Other than in ships.

Sadly, that's mostly true.  A volus must feed on the biotic rich blood of many, many Asari commandos before they can realize their full biotic potential.

Well if you're sticking to the mass effect story then you can't have volus troops. They suck at fighting and they don't have biotic powers, the biotic 'god' from ME2 was high on red sand and useless.

so the krogan can get a magic suit that lets him fly through the air, but the volus can't? ( hes already wearing a biotic suit!!)

Oh god, it's the "they don't care" crap.

Despite the fact that it would be awesome to have a biotic god volus, this forum needs to seriously shut up with the "they don't care."

I dunno if you were just playing into the fact that many people do this seriously or not, but it's as good of a time as any to air that out.

Biotic suits don't exist and some Krogan have the ability to use biotic powers so they can use charge to 'fly'. A volus character in the game would be just awful.

I think Mark Meer would be on board with this idea.
the guy loves silly things and voiced the original biotic god.
I think the only reason they haven't implemented em is because of their size. Doesn't fit the ready made form of MP characters.

ive always pictured the volus having a cannonball biotic charge, like a fighting game ( yoda from sc 4 lol??)

It's a soldier class character with soldier powers, sure it's promotional but it doesnt break in game lore. Volus aren't biotic unless they are jacked up on red sand and it's established in game that they don't care for war, preferring to let the Turians do that for them. Sure they could command capital ships but they don't fight hand to hand.

I interpret it as him calling the other people that frequent the MP forum/play ME3 MP his "brothers", rather than implying that his brother Volus would be in the MP.

Ahahahahaha! Lore? BioWare has dismissed that claim.

If we had Volus in MP then they should only be able to sprint for 3 seconds then need to recover for 10 more before moving again.
