I like the teamwork with combos and objectives. Then it would have to be the races and new skills with each DLC, and the sensation of unlocking new items from each pack.

Playing with other people who love mass effect as much as I do. Also love the sniper rifles and infiltrator class.

Unlocking weapons is a silly reason to play the game. You limit yourself to DLC and the hope for new weapons.

Impossible to isolate. I'd have to take a holistic approach here. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. And I love every single part.

Agreed.

I'd say it's the novelty and distinctness of the different classes. Playing ME2 and ME3, I really enjoyed the diversity and variety of the mass effect universe. MP came along and suddenly I had a chance to play a dodging asari or a fast punching drell. It's really added a layer to my ME experience.

In that respect, I like the multi leveled nature of the combat, with both weapons and powers being relevant to team tactics and strategies. The more variety and areas of expertise the better.

Honestly I don't find it much fun anymore. I don't really play the game anymore. I just come here from time to time to see if they have actually buffed any weapons. I'm sorry, but I just don't find a game fun that takes 60% of your ammo load out to kill one enemy while being swarmed by 6 enemies.

You guys can call me a whiner all you want, but nerfs really do ruin the game. And Bioware lost a lot of money from me. Yes I used to buy packs with real money. But they won't see another dime from me.

The new way of playing that was brought forward, sure we have seen horde mode that is based of waves, but none that allow the customization of our characters abilities, and use such a wide range of weapons and customize those as well. It let's me become a very honed killing machine.

The mechanics are very fun on their own, however what has kept me around is the people. First some really cool randoms I met, then playing with my wife, and finally playing with people from the forums. It's a fun game to play with other people.

That is actually a really tough question. I'll get back to you if I can formulate a solid response.

Different races - I really feel like you guys did a great job with this. You could have just made everything Human, but the fact that you didn't makes the game a lot more fun, IMO.
Teamwork. An essential part of this game, and it is great to play a match with a good team.

The team work is high up on the list. (This is why I would like a medic class that has been suggested a few times on here.)

Playing with friends, I don't enjoy PUG's anymore because when you PUG Gold, you mainly get either FBWGG or people who have never done gold before. I also enjoy just going into Plat and messing around... Always fun seeing how far you can get.

Hey Folks,

My question this time around is fairly straightforward if outright subjective.

The question comes down to what is it that you find most enjoyable about Mass Effect 3 Multi-Player? Is it the powers? The weapons? The races? Derek? Image IPB

All of the above plus you hang out with people in a friendly enviroment. It gives you another perspective of the game.

Fast paced combat and teamwork. Of course, when the team is working together. And, when the team is not together, a pretty fun scramble to try and win anyway you can.

There's no definitive answer for the question.
But I'll still try to somewhat answer it:

-coming up with new builds,
-unlocking UR weapons (I got seven URs from ten PSPs yesterday after a three-week long streak of lv. 4 ammo, this gave me a sense of hope),
-but the most important of all: I just love the ME universe, and I'm having fun with the game.

I hope you guys will keep supporting the game for a (relatively) long time!

Ok, I think multiplayer is great. But the best things in my opinion are:
-Drells, the mo drells the mo betta
-SHOTGUNS (occasionally to face)
-ExperimentIng with classes
-Falcon
-Ballistic Blades, Reave, Cluster Grenades, Dev. Mode, Multi frags, Sabotage, Arc Grenades, Lift Grenades
-When you get a cool moment in a game like saving a team Mayr from a sync kill

What I love about Multi-Player is the: K.R.O.G.A.N.S.

They're headbutting. Their Heavy Melee and the Voice Work. Very well done.

Krogan Soldier: has the carnage which comes in handy with having enemies fall flat on the ground (especially in those tight situations)

Krogan Sentinel: has the Incinerate ability which is great as a backup power. Works well on Gold.

Krogan Battlemaster: MY FAVORITE!!!!!! He's great on Platinum.

and with all K.R.O.G.A.N.S.: RAGE-MODE=GREATNESS

I'd say it's the combination of teamplay, large weapon and class variety. Enemy variety (to a lesser extent, add a new faction(s) already! :> ). Although the horde mode is fairly simple and repetitive, there are a lot of ways to play it. That's what has kept me interested in the game for so long, I think.
