I've never played with anyone that was inspired awe but Krogandontsnipe and ThislsAaron are two people I enjoy playing with. They are solid teamates and they are the best I've played with.

Nice judgement. None of mine were based only on score, they are good teammates in general. They also know how to play nearly every character fairly well, you probably just wouldn't have any idea about that since many of them only post speed run videos which are primarily done with 2x GI, QMI, and a fourth of choice. Most also tend to stay away from PUGs at this point because the limited time any of them want to play the are looking for the quickest matches they can get.

Is this a fight club thing going on?. This person is the best in my gang kind of thing or that person is the best within our circle of friends that we only play with etc. The best players sometime pops up on random and puts everybody to shame then disappears forever.

The dude N7 was sooooooo much higher than mine,(4709 , just checked the Leaderboards), that i said to myself "i have to outscore him!!" =p .We did 2 matches, he was top of the list always, and beat me by 10.000-20.000. The thing is, that i was trying so hard to beat him, that i outscored the other 2 guys by a very ,very large margin also,i was killing like a mad-man =D so i probably played two of my best games ever.

Yeah I noticed shortly after but didn't care enough to edit my post lol. Such a shame neither seem to play anymore. The same goes for Hobo Commander and WaffleCat. If I can keep up with them then they are no where near "the best".

I don't think I've ever topped a scoreboard where one of those players are present. I do OK vs. Snyper, Tatty, you and Upinya. The people I consider the best are the people I can happily lay back and not score a single point and STILL get a 15 minute run.

For example I had 22k at the end of a Jade/Reaper run (granted I was detonating mainly) with iShrubbery, UC Gollum and Mystic H those three are just on another level compared to me...

Yeah Tatty's a pretty damn good strategist (he got a speedrun on DAGGER for christ sake...). Throw in some excellent knowledge of the game and an interest for developing strategies and skill and I think my team captain is a great player... but the best? I don't know. Like I said I've kept up with him before and I can do it again. I've never kept up with Gollum or TidalLeaf unless some kind of disconnection happens.

Files of Note. To be honest none of the people mentioned from Team AreleX are rated on score. They are just that damn good. If I- a good player-can't keep up with them then in my book then they are damn good and deserve a mention.

Also score basing does actually work if you take into account other aspects (revives, teamwork, objectives etc.). If a guy has 76k with 5 revives (considerably high all factors considered) and helped with objectives and the game just felt that bloody easy you could sleep and sitll pull the same time, then they are damn good players.

I've been playing with GEEKFEST (rymoulton on here) since the game came out, pretty much - He's a great player that comes up with winning strategies, and he's always in the top half of the leaderboard.

Of course, almost all of the Team AreleX guys that I've played with are amazing. The group usually runs GIs on Glacier Platinum, but that's just because we like to get credits as fast as possible, not because we can't cut it with other characters.

Man, I thought I had a lot of really good people on my list, but after skimming through this thread, I realize that I probably haven't gotten into any games with a lot of elite BSNers. Like who is this Ashen Earth guy that everyone is mentioning?!

If you see this, send me an FR so I can get a few games with you and see what the hype is about!

Just saw this... Heh, that was one game dude, and you said you were lagging a lot of the time. Not an accurate representation of your skills compared to ours (and vice versa) or anything like that

Very true. Score's not always an accurate way to see how skillful someone is. I say that but do not let anybody tell you that 'score doesn't matter', because that's bs.

If a player is last on the leaderboard in every single match they play in, including random games, then that should tell you something.

Couldn't remember the names of some of the really good people I've played with over the months. I'd actualy say I'm the best I've seen. My RP builds and weapon sets are hardly ever considered optimal or even 'good,' both by average players and the math masters here, yet I often still achieve the most points and medals. Revives, Assists, Tech/Biotic Kills, Weapon Kills... Wish I could prove I drop the least in matches, or that I probably have high accuracy, like in the credits of Left 4 Dead Campaigns.

I'd like to see better someday, maybe.
