Just did used the raptor again in a solo (for the comm pack, only way to sure get it is without teammates)

I found myself switching to the harrier all the time because i could barely pick a centurion off at range

It really does need some more bang for its buck, i personally believe removed minrefiretime and damage upped to 130 at x, that way its still a heavier ar with inbuilt scope that needs a good triggerfinger and can be boosted by hm or destroyer moder

You know. I figured out a MUCH better way to buff the Raptor. We do your buffs BUT! We also add a 100% chance of the raptor victims exploding into giblets.



Hell just make it turn my enemies into bloody goo and I'd immediately use it as my primary weapon on everyone even if it sucked arse.

And yes I have been reading too much Franken Fran again and no I will not stop refrencing it in 90% of my posts. Untill I get bored that is.

That I don't think a gun needs to be the harrier in terms of DPS to be decent is probably enough to say I am probably far more accurate then the average person here.

And yet the harrier is widely considered the first and only worthy AR. Not overpwoered but rather kills things the way a gun should.

Actually it still requires quite some clips depleted on those higher difficulties and weighs enough that only few classes can make ideal use of it (harrier)

Revenant kills more efficient if taken on a gun master, a place where the harrier is useless (any destroyer/gi with harrier is a n00b, anyone thinking otherwise should seriously consider what a revenant does in the time the harrier user runs to an ammo box)

A mattock is a wiser ar choice for caster, a saber has a higher boss stopping power

The harrier does everything and can nothing good^^

Very true.

Myself, I use it on a Tsol so I have inate stability and proxy debuff. I imagine it wouldn't be impressive at all on classes without such bonuses. In fact it would probably suck because ammo isa an issue even on the Tsol.

If the Raptor was impressive without said bonuses on the higher dificultties, it would be overpowered.

Aye the harriers got pretty good publicity when you think about it.
And I've actually tried the revenant GI. Wouldn't call others noobs over not using it though, even though it is better given the situations both guns are in.

Revenant has 1 one advantage though. You can yell Sylvester Stallone quotes while firing it.

@rokayt, tried, if for that id take destroyer with clip+scope+ar gear+stabilizer 3

Still revenant gi is imho the ultimate jack of all trades, but requires skilled hands

And yes anyone who doesnt can do it is a newb, if done right anyone can deal more damage for a longer time then any other popular build is capable of

I thought I was crazy for thinking this; nice to see I'm not the only one. I've tried making the Harrier work and while it has decent killing power with AP and EM it runs out of ammo so damn fast on a Destroyer. It's too much downtime on him when I can pack a Revenant and mow down infantry and then whip out a Claymore for bosses while freeing up my gear slot for a grenade gear.

I much prefer using the Harrier on a combat/power hybrid like the Justicar.
