Anyway, I agree. I don't think the raptor should really be impressive without consumables on higher difficulties as it's uncommon though it should be effective (and that's without HM, DM, proxy and the like). A just for clarity, the harrier is only 'impressive' because the other AR suck so much and at that, it's still only 'impressive' when used with extra damage bonuses (HM, DM, proxy etc.)

You have class bonuses, the EB, and gear even in the worse of cases.

If you are going so naked as to not have those on..... Then not even the Pirhana will kill a marauder in 4 seconds.

Well yes, I will be using EB and PM mods but again making the use of those necessary to the gun being effective limits variability, they may as well get rid of the other attachments.

1400 DPS, consuming a third of the ammo.

A platinum Marauder has about 4500 total health.

You will likely need to reload, due to missed pellets.

It will take far longer to kill that platinum marauder.

The screen shaking is horrible, but the accuracy is not too bad if used at closer ranges (destroyer solves this problem) and the recoil can be fixed with either mods or consumables. Damage is fine with sustained fire. as for sound well I am sorry nothing can be done there.
