So, to start this off, I go the Mass effect 3 N7 Collector's Edition about two weeks ago. While I have very much enjoyed the single player campaign, I want to play the multiplayer as well. Since I got the game, I have had the infamous "You have been disconnected from the Mass effect 3 servers" bug, and the frustration of finishing maybe 1 in 10 matches has prevented me from playing much of the multiplayer. The disconnect would even occasionally happen in the single player campaign and freeze the game for about a minute and a half.

Today, I logged on and the main menu got caught in an endless loop of "Checking Downloadable Content". I can only even play the single player when i'm not connected to origin. Is there any sign of a fix for these issues in sight?

I have the N7 Collector's Edition also. I believe that the only thing you can play while disconnected from the ME3 servers is the vanilla content: That is to say you can play the core game, but your From The Ashes DLC with came with your edition will not be available, along with any other add-on content you install later.

I got my copy at launch. Usually it only would give problems just trying to start the game, but now I will get hangs with pop ups in mid single player campaign informing me that the ME3 servers are unavailable, or I got disconnected.

I also got these a few years back when playing Dragon Age Origins the first time around. Except the pop ups were far more frequent. I spent the better part of 2 hours on the phone or in chat with EA support (Pro-tip: online chat support sucks. Save your sanity and pick up the phone) before I found someone who looked at the UOTrace and finally admitted that it meant their servers were the problem. They eventually fixed those issues, and I don't get them anymore in DAO or DA2 - it's just ME servers which are cruddy now.

I believe they will eventually fix them, but they are nothing new, so I also believe that the errors should have been pre-empted but weren't. I also believe that this is an EA problem rather than a BioWare one, if that makes you feel any better.
