Guys what's the best way to play this game for the 1st time?
*I've already chosen to play as a Human Warrior (Probably Make him a Tank)

an add on question:
How do I keep Loghain and Alistair in my party together?
*I've read that you either choose one of them.
Choose Loghain = Alistair leaves
Kill Loghain = Alistair Stays but Loghain will never be in the party

so my question is, is there a way to keep them both, if there is a way? please tell me how Thanks :P

Sadly enough you can't keep both of them in your party. Alistair will simply refuse. You however can make him king together with Anora if you've hardened him and mentioned a marriage before the landsmeet (iirc). But Alistair will leave you party then anyway. Well, at least he'll stay alive

It's up to you really. Every class is enjoyable if you know what you're doing. If you don't it might be a little frustrating at the start. I've started with dual wield warrior, gimped him a little but still managed to have fun and finished the game with ease.

And no, there is no way to keep them both in your party.Sorry.

what kind of warrior do you plan to be? 2 handed? dual wield? sword & shield? Also are you on PC or console b/c I would highly suggest the respec mod in the Projects section. Dragon Age is a fantastic game but it really sucks if you waste one point or talent then you have no freedom to respec & correct that mistake :( If not though & u plan on being a heavy hitter put 2 in strength 1 in dex every time you level. if you plan on dual wielding put 2 in dex 1 in strength. If you want to go S&S either 2 strength 1 constitution or 2 strength 1 dex. A high dex will allow you to have a great defense & evade attacks or a high cons to take lots of damage your choice but i prefer Dex.

Go 2H if u plan to have a high Resistance to getting knocked down & you want hard hitting deadly blows or knocking enemies to the ground for a high DPS teammate to finish off.

Go dual wield with very high dex to stand on your own evade attacks & often while deal massive DPS & carrying the majority of your party's damage.

Sword & Shield if you just want to pull aggro & tank most likely not dealing as much damage as others but taking a lot & allowing your party members to exploit enemy weakness from behidn while you keep enemy focus.

Hope this helps, any more Q's let us know & Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I should have two saves then? 1 with alistair and 1 with loghain?

@DragonAge1103: I'm an all around one but right now I focus on sword and shield with dual as my 2nd gear but I think I'll go for 2 hand for 2nd gear now xD

i went for a dual weild city elf for my first playthrough messed her up badly XD my second were a Human Noble 2hand warrior, he pwned ass, now i am a Dwarf Comoner Sword and SHield, just love warriors :D as for Sword and Shield Strength up to 42 (to wear massive armor) then rest in dexterity, as never getting hit is still better than getting hit, Constitution if you feel like needing it, but that shouldnt be a problem
