I'm sorry, but the "Individual" goal is flat-out stupid and will be nigh impossible for a lot of people (newbs, PS3ers) to complete.

Yep. And it will be the way most people get the individual goal this weekend.

I hope I get a hurricane smg since its still on level 1 or the valiant sniper rifle since that is the only N7 weapon i haven't gotten yet. I keep getting the dam crusader shotgun which I never use I hate my luck. By the way will they ever add the N7 assault rifle to multiplayer I forget it's name I think it's called Valkyrie or have they already and I just haven't gotten it yet?

Nope. Valkyrie is MIA in MP. As are most of the pre-order/different edition bonuses.

I did a test solo bronze run with a kroguard vs geth on dagger and was successful, just a few iffy spots but I played conservative. I was not super efficient as I just got the kroguard recently but I managed to do it. I tried with an asari vanguard but did not make it on glacier vs cerberus stupid hack objective on wave 10 in a poor spot. I'll use the kroguard for the solo play when the thing starts.

Or y'know just.. everyone not use a consumable. It's not like that's difficult in any way, considering this can be done on bronze if you so choose.

and apparently it has to be everyone anyway. looks like I'm gonna be soloing a bronze then, no way I can be sure randoms won't use consumables.

I feel sorry for people without friends who can't solo bronze. Undoable goal.

I expect there'll be a crew of people going round random matches dedicated to using one consumable per game.

The worst part about the restriction covering ops packs and clip packs is that you can't tell if another player's used one until you fail to get your pack.

yeah, short of soloing a game, you have no way of knowing if you've accomplished the goal

Seems it's finally time to put this game down for good. This squad goal is stupid, it will be incredibly hard for PS3 users that can only play against randoms.

There's no way to even know if one of your team mates used an ammo pack during the match, how are we supposed to know we accomplished the goal?

Weekend operations was one of the few reasons to play but they've just kept getting dumber and dumber and coupled with difficulty getting the award actually awarded. Time to move on.

Do you think that the escort goal will count if you die mid-session? I mean finishing an escort at Wave 3 and failing the game by Wave 5?

No way the squad goal can be reliably done with PUGs. Easiest way is to solo Bronze Geth with a Kroguard + Cyclonic IV.

No.  It has apparently been renamed to "squad goal" and the need for the whole team to participate has already been confirmed.

Correct. The squad (whether 1, 2, 3 or 4 person squads) cannot use consumables.

Well, at least the squad goal is original, so full points to Bioware on that. Just too bad it's going to suck for me as I mostly play pugs, and prefer squishy classes that make things go boom by running into the middle of crowds (hello Fury). Gonna see if I can wrestle some of the Bronze Effect guys together, but it might be time to roll up a Krogan and see if I can solo bronze. I don't want to be anti-social in this co-op game, but I'm not trusting the internet to not troll me.

Oh wait... I don't have the Krogan Battlemaster... Wonder if Sentinels of some kind can solo this crap, I have tons of those.
