Anyway, solo run on bronze with level 18 Krogan Vanguard: done. Childishly simple...Did get two Escort missions on it though. Seems to pop up a bit more than usual.

On the splash screen they mention shields as well, hope they don't mix gear shields with consumable shields.

You know how sometimes when you start a random, you get inserted into a team already working? I stuck around, we all finished with 10 rounds survived (so I assume nobody used medigel). Not sure if nobody used other things!

Stuck around and we got another round of 10 with nothing. Unless somebody used extra ammo and screwed us all over!

Enabling the nodes sort of got rough since there were enemies shooting from both sides during the 3rd one, but with a little luck, was able to push through. Got a derp moment during extraction when I thought I had my Reegar equipped, only to learn I was using the Phalanx, almost got hugged to death by a group of Cannibals. lol

Um...the splash screen doesn't say you can't use missiles. This might cause problems.

We only have to complete the 10th wave but I've been sticking it out through extraction just to be safe.

Thanks, the wording on the splash screen makes it look like it's just Wave 10.

I know, I was shaking my head reading that, it also says shields rather then ops packs so who knows what people are going to be using.

One solo done Kroguard against Geth. Poor things. Squad goal in the bag. Still playing with other teams and not using consumables. One match was screwed for anybody going for squad goal, when an adept went for medi-gel to avoid being stamped. Not neccesary. Still three players on their feet with the wave half done. Come on out there stop acting from (good) habit for this weekend. The match was still a success with an escort drone done. Keep it up, we will win everything this weekend.

 Yes. It is only the supply consumables that cannot be used fro the squad goal.

 just tried solo bronze on hydra...escort dropped in a place it NEVER has..and traveled right through the middle of the map ( again...never been there before..) Of course,,phantoms, and atlases and Centurians as well  as a pile of grunts all spawned right in front of the escort start zone. Its about as fair and do-able as the hacks on london in platinum ( without rockets...which by the way I did not remember seeing on the splash screen in game??
It said consumables...medi's, ops and ammo...didn't see Cobra missles).
What a POS....Nothing like making it 'fair' Bioware...

Once and for all: What consumables are allowed to use (if any)? The Splash screen says "no shields", what does that mean? No shield gear? No shield enhancing pre game consumables? Or just no OPs survival packs?
And what about other pre game ammo, weapon and armor bonus consumables?
God that´s a mess, I soloed 1 game without ANY bonus just to be sure.

Forget what was or was not on the screen the mission has been clarrified by Chris Priestly. No supply consumables. ( thermal clip, gel, ops survival and rockets) You can use all equipment and gear.

Just asking to be sure, does this include the equipment consumable bonuses? Like the ammo,weapon armor and gear bonuses. ie: cryo rounds, adrenaline module.
Sorry Im still new to multiplayer.

Played a few PUGs - at some point someone would use a consumable, usually a missle or medigel.

Eventually gave up and did a solo Glacier/Geth/Bronze. N7 Paladin. Hack/Escort/Retrieve. Done and done.
