i think the fix is in for us to fail...i say that cause outta all the games i've played today (about 7-9), i've only done the escort objective once

you have to do it with people you know or talk about it in the room....it's all about trust and communication this operation

Maybe on xbox.  On Pc it says, and I quote, "Complete Wave 10 on any difficulty without using a consumable (medi-gel, ammo,shields)"

[Oh, a helpful hint: Any topic with the blue BIOWARE on it ... click on the BIOWARE and it'll just list the posts from the devs.  As long as you are logged in.  They post Ops announcements here and in the announcements forum. Check both as they, unfortunately, do not link the two]

In summary (all verified per the above):
No one in your squad can use any of the 4 consumables (D-pad on XBOX): Missile, medi-gel, Clip, OPS.
This is *through* wave 10.  Thus you can apparently use in wave 11 (extraction), though I wouldn't.
Any other consumable (ammo, armor, weapon) or Gear is okay
Squad means everyone.  If someone uses, no one gets the commendation.
Solo (or Duo, or Trio) counts as a squad, not just a 4-person.
And no, it doesn't have to be against Reapers    (old joke)

Reading above posts it seems we are getting mixed experiences. I have done at least 5 pugs with people definitely not using missiles and gels and they have said none of the other supplies in game. If youn play enough I am sure it will work out. Pugs using mic's who would have thought.

One of the things that makes this hard are, eh, battle instincts. I use my ops packs quite a bit, as I'm a reeeealy aggresive player, and figure that using an ops pack is better for the team then me going down and needing to be revived. It's such a reflex that in a private match with just my buddy (on bronze) I popped an ops pack out of reflex when caught in between a pyro and a hunter. UGH!

My only point being is that some people are sure to "ruin" a match by accident.

That being said I did finish a bronze two man for an easy win, and am FAIRLY certain that I got through a silver PUG and a gold FBW match without any using consumables. Sadly, the only ones you can really tell without people on mic's are missles and gel. No one used either, so I'm hoping that's two more in the bag for other folks that might not even know what's going on, despite splash screens.

Hahahahaha. Oh man. I hope they were honest about it being wave 10. I just did my solo match. Got cocky during extraction. I went down with literally one second to extraction. Well played, you synthetic bastards.

We played U/U/G, didn't use any consumables, and one player synckilled on WAVE 10 by a banshee. We done the escort job and after that we had a full extraction. Is it ok for squad goal?

Or every players have to stay alive at the end of wave 10?

(I'm just asking, we done it on u/u/g in an other game and will try to do it on platinum tomorrow).

Good thing its Wave 10 and not extraction that is required, i just died with 40 secs left on a solo Bronze run.

Yeah, I had people use medigel few times with the other three players being alive.
I think I did it with a public squad, but since there is no way to tell, whether they used Ops Survival / Thermal Clip Pack, I soloed bronze game later only to be sure. I dont like soloing and all three objectives were those "disarm four items" - not fun.

Xbox.  But that said, so far I've completed three PUGs.  First was obviously no good, when someone joined, died, instantly medi-gelled, and left the game.  But the other two..... I didn't use anything, and I can only assume the two krogens knew what was going on and didn't either.  So the question becomes, that fourth person in both games.  I get the feeling it's unlikely either of them used an ops or ammo pack.  So although 90% sure we got it both times (and thus 90% sure I got it), like that Ball Park Franks commercial, unless you're 100%, you just don't know.

I'm getting annoyed playing this weekend. Every match, no one is talking, so I don't know if everyone is going for this. When people go down, no one is using medi-gel. I started today with the intent to play one Bronze (and hope to get it, but I don't know if I did because no one was talking), then play a couple gold on Firebase White to rack up some credits, then just go to Silver for the map variety. Since the Bronze, I haven't finished a single one (playing with randoms and most are talking). The closest I came to finishing, we got to Wave 9 or 10 I think, and my Xbox froze. Instead of throwing my controller, I came to the forums to vent a little bit.
