Because most players will use consumables on random matches, I have no choice but to solo this stuff up!

Or maybe some fellow players want to play. Otherwise, I'll just use equpment and Krogan Vanguard.

Perversely, this could encourage more people to play Platinum. No reasonable person could expect to attempt the squad goal in a Platinum match (particularly in a PUG) and the nicer players will be reluctant to PUG in the lower difficulties after taking care of their squad goal and possibly ruin that of others.

Wow, finally, after all those months, an actual challenge for a squad goal. But then again, totally and easily doable with engineer against geth on bronze. I don't know why, but for a few minutes I thought that for a squad goal we have to do the aquad challenge 10 times. Silly me.

No ammo packs, not no ammo at all, it means if you need ammo, you need to go to a box, not hit the d-pad/button.

This may force peeps to get on mics and communicate while in a lobby so everyone is on the same page. While I never use a mic and think it's largely overrated, the simple exercise in communication may help pave the way for more coordinated team play for when the DLC drops. Rationalization...

I guess Geth are being suggested due to their lack of instant kills, but I find Bronze/Glacier/Cerberus the easiest to handle. As long as you have grenades or Stasis (even better, grenades andStasis!) and are using Grenade Capacity, Warfighter, or Shock Trooper equipment, it's a cakewalk.

Just throwing it out there in case it helps anyone.

You have a chance, right now, BioWare to turn this from the worst, stupidest, most asinine "Challenge Weekend" ever devised into something that actually has a chance of letting people complete.

All you have to do is change it from Squad goal to Individual. That's it. That's all you have to do. Then people will be able to actually participate and play. If you keep it as a Squad goal, that's just going to frustrate the absolute **** out of people and drive more people away from the MP aspect of the game.

Or, if you just want to make an impossible Squad goal just to dick with us, make it something like "Kill Ten Kajillion Geth Hoppers".

Wow, this is going to be fun. I'll probably have to rely on friends for this one, or will just solo bronze. Either way, cool idea.

The only thing that can hinder this is the impulse that once you see a group of banshees or phantoms, especially on wave 10, you automatically whip out a rocket. lol.

EDIT: This is definitely the time the PS3 needs the splash screen.

I like this, it inspires more teamwork and less going rambo. also forces people to revive each other since you can't gel. objectives will be interesting. wave 10 hack with 2 banshees on you and you can't missile? sounds like fun

They should rename it to 'Operation GAMBLING'. That's what you do if you can't solo bronze. No guarantee to complete the squad goal.
