I recomend solo on bronze. I was with this friend and we agreed not to use medi-gels, etc. I noted he used thermal clip.

No joke, JUST after I did my solo bronze run (successfully) I was in a pug and we talked about it first (3 of us had mics). Some dude said "it's cool if you use missiles, I just looked it up." I thought I'd be nice and help other people as well as work on the community goal.

Told him no, you can't, and directed him to this thread. So wave 1-9 go by no trouble, no one uses anything, then blammo, knucklehead uses a missile. Says "it's cool, I told you I looked it up."

I can't stress enough both the stupidity of this event, and the importance of doing your own run that you can control. Far too many idiots and jerkwads playing online games for this to be a viable event.

Yes, I'm sure some groups will be on the same page, but I am not willing to fail repeatedly hoping to get a group full of decent, intelligent human beings.

Solo bronze ftw.

This is joke ? People please, why you use rockets on third wave on bronze, or why don't help escort drone ?!

If this operation will succed, i will grant a special reward for some people, so stay tuned !

lol you cant believe what happen to me on the 11th wave ppl was dieing so i had to be the medic with my shadow and revive them untill some troll decided to use medi-gel

You only have to go to wave 10 without consumables. After that, you can use them. Of course wave 11 really isn't all that important so I don't see why you'd use consumables at all, but still.

You can use them on wave 11.  Just not before.

I can't stay connected long enough to complete a single match (actually, completed one, but got disconnected after extraction but before results screen, and it doesn't look like it counted). This is only happening on ME3 multiplayer. I can play for hours in single player without losing my Xbox Live connection, I can watch Youtube, and I played Phantasy Star Universe all day yesterday without a single problem. But when I go into an ME3 multiplayer match, I'm out by round 5. What's weird is that it doesn't just say I've lost my connection to the server, it actually disconnects me from Live. Again, this is only happening in ME3 multiplayer. I've never had a problem like this before. I've completed every single N7 weekend and I'll be ticked off if I fail now because of this. Side note: that match I sort of finished? It wouldn't have mattered anyway, because some genius used a medi-gel halfway through a computer hack in round 6...

Soloed with SE on Bronze Geth. Then joined random bronze game where poor BS was overwhelmed by Geth on wave 3 Hack objective. Then 2 more players joined in and we got FE without using anything.

I feel your pain Letsfire with the connection problems.  Just try to cold start it and it may work.  It has been glitchy a bit of late for me, just but grin and bear it I guess.

I think I completed the Squad Goal, unless someone in the squad secretly used an ops pack or thermal clip pack. One of my other run-throughs failed when a guy decided to use a rocket on Wave 10. Ouch.

Ill admit I tried the goal on silver and I have low ammo weapons so I'm used to useing a thermal clip now and then. Well to say the least I hit it wave 9 surrounded by banshees and hit it with out thinking. So I apologies now to who ever that was cause my daughter broke my mic and couldn't tell them and 2 left after extraction. Messaged them but figured id write it here incase they didn't read it

It's not confusing people. It's confusing how will they know the other people didn't use them. We get no identication if another uses medigel.

Actually it was confusing me. English is not my first language.
Ok, so no "consumables". But it was not clear for me if I could use or not bonus gear, bonus ammo, etc.

If it is not mentioned, then you can use it. Equipment is not classified as consumables.

the only rub is that it will bite getting about a 5th of what I am used to in credits....I think it would be a fair trade to eliminate consumables from SPs and PSPs for the duration of the event....let's be consistent BioWare....
