Not so. Chris clarified this point. It is the supply consumables that are prohibited. The equipment consumables may be used.Ravenmyste wrote...

No it does not. Check Chris Priestly's clarification in the announcement thread. All equipment consumables may be used. ie ammo bonus, armour bonus, weapon bonus and gear. The prohibition is only the supply consumables. ie gel, rockets, op survival and ammo replacement.Ravenmyste wrote...

I tend to never use consumables anyway.
you do know that includes rails, wargear that vanish after 11 rounds right and armor upgrades right?

The individual goal is easy but would be really easy for someone to stuff it up and you not even notice. Especially the ops and ammo packs as these arent displayed on the HUD. Will there be a banner countdown as that really helps.
Hello Chris, he's got reason, what about something like this? "-For events like the this (or for all), put a status in the right up corner with one icon green or red depending of if you have been succesfuly completed the objetives (to be sure)."

the only rub is that it will bite getting about a 5th of what I am used to in credits....I think it would be a fair trade to eliminate consumables from SPs and PSPs for the duration of the event....let's be consistent BioWare....
edit - sp.

With all due respect Chris, this isn´t a fair condition, expecially on PS3, which i use. We don´t get the splash screen informing about the operations,so the only way to know ,is if you come here regurlarly, so, even though i´m aware of the conditions, there is no garantee that my team-mates are even aware of an operation going on.....If it´s an individual goal, then i should not depend on others using a consumable...Chris Priestly wrote...

250,000 ESCORTS I hardly ever get those and also is the individual goal does that mean no one can use consumables or just the person playing
No one in the party can use consumables.
And there isn´t even a way of knowing if a team-mate used a consumable(well, besides medi-gel and rockets)
So i might think i got it done, but it may not be the case.

You'd be surprised. I dont play ME3 with friends as most of mine tend not to play videogames. Randoms will sometimes hoard consumables until wave 9 and then just go nuts all of a sudden.
I think this will be annoyingly difficult simply because unless you all use mics, you just WONT KNOW whether anyone on your team has used something like an Ammo Pack.

Good thing it's called a "squad goal" and not an individual goal, otherwise that would be confusing.. Look, I play on the ps3, too. My advice? don't leave the games you are going for the squad goal up for chance. Message a friend or two and put the difficulty on Bronze and play until your friends confirm they didn't use any ops, gels, missiles, or clip packs.ViciousN8 wrote...

If worse comes to worst, solo on bronze with a tanky character and a powerful weapon.
