Squad goal sounds like a crapshoot, one thing to keep my twitchy fingers from using something but another to hope the other three don't quietly use an ammo pack on Wave 10 or whatever.

A lot of escort missions too!

Just going to have to keep shooting and keep hoping this weekend.

 I Agree with Steve0064, if they can put banshees in geth missions and double up tank-types they can easily modify the missions to favor escorts. Unrelated: if you are worried about the squad goal, go solo (any difficulty). If that seems daunting, well, it is a "challenge" weekend. The last three weekends have been hand-outs essentially, just look at the numbers, we killed it! I'm pretty stoked for a more difficult weekend, and to meet some team players (hopefully) getting this allied goal done. Anything that isn't "Operation Silencer" is fine by me, sweet jesus was that a nightmare.

That is a lot of escorts It could be done if every single player gets at least one escort in a game i believe mass effect has 250 000 player but the squad goal sucks

I can honestly say that I have never had a single escort mission so far. I know I haven't been playing for too long but the odds seem heavily stacked against me on this challenge!

So basically, Play a lot of games, then cross your fingers and hope that in one of them people kept their fingers away from the med-packs, etc.....ooh goodie *sigh*

Either that or solo'ing,...aaah well done Bioware, well done turning MP into SP.

 I don't even notice, Banshee, Atlas, Brutes or even Geth Prime, is so hard in bronze to kill. Please people, i soled on bronze with full squad, so what the hell ? <_<

I've had ppl do that to me countless times. I'd be a shot or two from killing a banshee or prime or whatever and up they'd come and use the missile launcher to nick the kill.......... very immature really.
Anyways, I'll be playing bronze this weekend and not using any consumables. I'm on PS3 so if anyone wants to add me my GT is DarkFaerie316. Hope we can get this done!!!

This is going to be impossible with random people.

As others have stated I'll solo a bronze and team up with some people just for good measure. I only hope we get more escort missions during these matches. They've been sporadic at best for me, although glacier seems to be having an overflow of them.

I don't think that would matter. The challenge is to complete wave 10 without using the supply consumables.

I am only a casual player and spend most of the time playing bronze and silver. It is not hard to solo bronze, without using supply consumables, with Kroguard, shields gear, cyclonic mod and a big shot gun. Did a few successful dry runs yesterday. Only one problem on a wave ten escort drone. The damn drone passed my chars head just at the same time a nasty phantom sneaked up to me. Saw it too late, and it stuck me with the sword in the belly. Nooooo. Still four out of five says it is easily doable.

First I'll do my solo run, just to be on the safe side. Then I'll color my Battlemaster all white with red lights, and I'll be flying Doctor Krogan to help around during the weekend.

It pretty much excludes newer players who are still learning and improving on bronze. IMO, the whole thing is a bad idea and should never have been created. How about doing more ops that aren't going against the grain of the concept (teamwork) of the MP and how about not setting it up so only the best players (Gold and maybe some silvers) can achieve by going solo, and most of all, how about picking an objective you can know you've accomplished. My God, how hard would that be? Does BW go out of it's way to be a tool or what?

I understand the doubt, but the op could build team working. The John Rambo's might decide that running off to the other side of the map away from the squad is too risky.
The newer players would not be confident to try solo.

Better make sure you have Earth DLC downloaded or you will not see an escort mission.

I think what the goal is to not use a consumable until wave 11. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I have a feeling they will tell us the full story half way throught the event.

Cobra Missiles

Medi-gels

Op Survival Packs

Thermal Clip Packs

It's not confusing people. It's confusing how will they know the other people didn't use them. We get no identication if another uses medigel.
