I've just made my first tag-based scripting on item; something happens when you activate it. But the animation when you activate the item ruins it. I'd like to remove that...can it be done? If not, any workaround?

Note: By the way, I may have not been clear. The animation is when you self activate an item, and the character raises his hands as though he casted a spell.

you could try to force a different animation into the tag script maybe that will override the default animation...

If the item is activated at the start of the animation, then a ClearAllActions assigned to the user might short-circuit things. However the item script might not fire until *after* the animation is complete, in which case you might have to put up with it.

Although there might be another work-around for the latter scenario. You could try copying all the idle animations for all the playable races and genders, then rename them all to use the item activation animation naming convention. That would be a lot of work for such a minor problem though.

Thanks. And you're right DannJ, whatever should remove that, I bet it'd still be so much work...so much for such a minor problem. Best I'd ignore it.
