I'm looking for a new tv since I'm starting to dislike mine in terms of sound quality and the visual quality.

So I was wondering if anyone has some advice which tv is best for gaming? Since thats what I will mostly use it for.

My budget is max 600$.

Thanks in advance! :)

Uncertain if it is available overseas, but Consumer's Report has been an oustanding source for such purchases for me in the past. If not available as a magazine, try the on-line version for research; the group has helped save hundreds of dollars in electronic and autos.

You want Sharper panels with high hertz. It's all in them Gigahertz.

Depends on the size you're going for here. I'd go for an LG.

Okay I'll keep that in mind. I currently have a Samsung since I heard that those are the best for gaming.

And is it? I heard the Samsung is great too, but better for TV.

And what size? It's gonna be hard to get an LED LG (as far as I know) any bigger than a 37inch for under 600.

Btw nice avatar lol.

My current tv is 33inch which I think is a great size. Don't really feel like getting anything bigger then that.

And thanks, I hoped that the avatar would help in getting people to reply to this thread since alot of these kinds of threads get burried really fast :innocent:

I wanted to say You're possibly one of BSN multi millionairess who want the last greatest product of the industry like a 100" Sony TV.

With 600$ you better buy a 30-40" Samsung that supports 100 HZ. If you want smaller, you can get better quality TV though.

Just make sure you buy local. Preferably Costco, so it's easier to return if there's anything wrong with it.

I recently got a Samsung 32" and a Dynex 32". They were both on sale and I wanted one for regular TV viewing and one for gaming. Both are really good with full HD an HDMI support. I'd recomend either one.

And as bmwcrazy said, buy local. I got mine at Bestbuy and the guy threw in a Xbox controller no charge when I said I wanted one TV for gaming.

Do NOT go with a 3D TV. It's just a fad.
