I have downloaded the Firefight DLC and I have redeemed my codes that i got from purchasing the Mass Effect 3 action figures, but  I can't access the wepons or find the bonuses for the figures anywhere in-game. Is there something I need to do to access them, or am I just missing something here.
Also this is my first play through, so I'm not sure if I need to be in a certain part of the game to be able to get the dlc.

Are those things you purchased and redeemed for single player or multiplayer? As I understand it there are things in multiplayer that do not appear in the single player mode. Check to see what it is you have.
