You have seven gold cards (3 PSPs and a SP, or 2 PSPs and 3 SPs?) it will take time to get good weapons. Here's my guide to maxing your manifest:

1) Play Bronze and buy Recruit Packs until you max your commons and get some classes to 20.
2) By now you have the weapons and characters that can handle Silver.
3) While playing Silver don't buy Veteran Packs, save up for PSPs. The reason is you'll want to start getting some rare weapons. The second  you have a rare weapon you like that lets you play Gold, start doing so.
4) While playing Gold, switch to buying Veteran Packs to backfill your uncommon weapons, mods and gear. While you're doing this it will make your Gold matches get progressively easier as you have better equipment.
5) When that's done, go back to buying PSPs for rare weapons/characters/gear, then when rares are maxed, either buy PSPs and JEPs or switch to SPs (whichever suits your particular RNG superstitions the best).

Will give that a go. I was saving for the SP's and PSP's in the hopes I'd get something good so I could move up the levels but it was all kinda crap tbh. But I like the way you think :-) Thank you :-)

@ChickenDownUnder - are you still missing Reactor Gold for your unwavering achievement?  I'm sure with all the PSNers on this thread we can get a team together to get that one done for you.  I've always kind of liked reactor myself.  I can see why it's not the greatest for snipers, and I don't know if there are any decent spots for campers, but its a solid map for running and gunning.  I'd be happy to be a part of helping you out there.

Yup, you are right. My PSN ID in the first post is now backwards when it comes to underscores.

And yes, still missing only the Reactor map, nobody yet who has befriended me seems to want to do that map.  Even found a couple spots that looked like they'd be decent for camping sorts, though haven't actually tested them out yet; the most promising spot requires a full team (or just two really good players) to watch over two exits that are close to each other. But, there is no chest high walls in this spot to duck behind in order to avoid Rocket Trooper and Atlas missile spam and such, so in a 4-man team somebody with an SE will be required, otherwise a single rocket that makes it through one of the two entrances would just ruin everybody's day. There also doesn't seem like a good way to retreat if things ever get too hairy, as well as a spawn point being really close by.

The other spot is basically nothing but chest high walls for protection, though the two entrances are basically stairs so can better avoid sync kills, but again a single missile that makes it past the entrances would be pretty lethal and there is no easy way to retreat.

...can you tell I've been considering the easiest, cheesiest way to do this map solo if I continued to not find anyone willing to help?

But all of this is untested, been just doing the running around method since that seems to sync better with PUGs.

Hey I'd be happy to help you with the unwavering achievement--I have no qualms with reactor. I mean you seemed to handle yourself fairly well on gold in the few matches we played. So I'd be happy to play with you again. Most of my friends would probably be willing to help too if we need extra players.

I, too, am willing to join this venture (actually just shot Chicken a PM before I saw your post). I don't have Unwavering yet, either... missing Reactor, Dagger, and Giant. But I also have not been actively trying to get those maps either (typically do U/U/G whenever I do Gold), so partly my fault for not having it yet.

Pizza, if you get Chicken in a room before I do and you see me online, invite me (maybe add in the message that you've got Chicken and need reinforcements). I'll come as soon as whatever match I'm currently engaged in is done, promises.
