I listened to some DA Origins soundtrack and got the feeling of nostalgia of my warden, the Cousland family, Alistair's friendship, Sten's respect, Duncan and and the adventures you had with your other companions, plus Ferelden had a charm to it. I don't miss Anora, who would miss her?

I definitely have more nostalgia for my Warden then with my Hawke. And I certainly think Alistair and Morrigan were the best characters ever written for the series.
I have high hopes though that whoever we play in DA3 will be memorable. I think Bioware will take the bad from both games out and keep the good, thus resulting in a great third entry into the series.

Yeah I miss my Warden too, mainly because currently I don't know where she is lol. She's supposed to be with Alistair doing Wardeny things, so I'm kinda concerned that she's been killed now that she's disappeared lol. However, I wouldn't want to play as her again. I'm hoping i'll become as attached to the new protagonist in DA3 as I did with my Warden.

I have to admit....I do. Much as I did enjoy Hawke and his band of ruffians, I would love a chance to dust off my Warden's armor and charge into the deep roads one last time. I think a lot of people would and furthermore, I think there is a unique opportunity in this desire for Bioware.
I realize that the stated agenda for each new Dragon Age release is to follow a new protagonist. I can understand, respect, and even applaud that agenda. Grow the world. However, why just cast the old timers aside for use only as a name to drop going forward?
How about a digital release of a small, perhaps even experimental, title starring the Warden? An adventure game like The Walking Dead or a Hack and slash like Bloodforge or a dungeon crawl like Torchwood.
And it doesn't even need to have much to do with preceding titles. Just a short and sweet adventure through the deep roads starring everyones favorite Warden. It's already been set up by the Deep Roads expedition from DA2.
Speaking of DA2, Hawke could stand a digital release to finish that story. I'd love a proper stealth action game set in Starkhaven.
Just my thoughts.

I miss both the warden and hawke. I know bioware said they want a new protagonist in the next game. If that is the case, then I would like to see the fates of both warden and hawke in a scenematic at some point of the next thing (da3).
It is not just coincidence that they are both missing in the world of thedas. Both where helped by flemeth and both dealt with and old magistars Cory and architect. Oh also miss oghren!

Yes! I miss him and would love to see his fate and what happened to Hawke too.

Uh … I kinda wish I knew what he was up to, but I don't really miss playing as him. He had his great adventure and found his great love. What else was there for him to do?

I want to know where she's at and what she's doing but I don't miss her. I think I liked my Hawke more for some reason.

Yeah, I miss my Wardens, I'll even miss my Hawkes. I even miss Anora! (No, seriously.)

No.
But I miss Alistair lol
(I was more attached to the NPCs than my own character...couldn't care less about my Warden...probably because she was mute)

No. Initially I did, but as time has gone forward, I just stopped caring. DA:O was a great game, and I enjoyed playing the Warden, but the DA universe is much bigger than any one single character, no matter how awesome the warden may have been. I'm looking forward to seeing the new character we're going to get to play in DA3

yes, but i still play DA:0 so it is still fresh (and i enjoyed DA:O much more than DA:2)

I've never really been attached to any of my protagonists, but my warden? Yeah, definitely.

Waht happened to the Warden? Whatever you immagined. It was left open-ended, wbut with enoughclosure.
You know if he's with a loved one or not. You know roughly what's he was doing.
But the Wardens journey is over, as it should be. He did great things and deserves rest.
Too much heroics and the hero starts looking false...

No, though not because I don't enjoy the character enough. Definitely one of my favorites, but I got exactly what I needed in terms of closure. Not to say I would be opposed to playing as the Warden again; assuming it would be silent protagonist still.
This is what I would be saying if they left well enough alone anyway.
Except DA2's ending ruined that.

I like my funny hawk more than my homicidal dwarf. Hawk's got more personality and still manages to kill lots of people.

Yeah I miss my Warden. He was supposed to be with Leliana but somehow they got separated over time. Some closure to what happened to him would be nice, maybe in DA3 we will find out what happened to the Warden.

Sort of, I'll always have fond memories of my Dalish elf's adventures, but I'm really looking forward to their new protagonist for every game policy.
I wouldn't be opposed to a game at some point in the future, a spin off, that finished off the Warden's story, explains his disapearance, and goes into his calling, but that event would still be another ten years off in the Dragon Age,
