Always calling out things in the game: turrets or what around me if I'm killed, or the classic: "[player x] I'm coming to revive you" when someone is down.
A must is the "Thanks" when someone revive me.
But I agree, not too many ppl talk. It make the game more fun when it happen.
A couple of night ago I thanked someone in a PUG game that revived me early in the game, he reply to me and the third player express his disbelief "someone with mics??!!??" Then we proceed to play three match where we could actually coordinate and talk...

I love British accents. They're sexy. However, this American woman wouldn't say anything about your accent, because I'm sure I have a weird accent to you too. There are so many people from all over the world that play this game. It would be silly to call someone out for coming from a specific location.
Now look at this! I always found certain British female accents to be sexy.
Who would have thought that: British top the charts for most sexy voices.
I guess the Americans just mock them because they are jealous.
As for me, I vill stick to mai Tsherman aksent - zis has to be ze seksist.

This and OP, really? Xboxer complaining about people not talking. Come to the master race's side and hear the silence. You might hear the occasional Russian guy saying something but my Russian is not that good and I believe not many even know a word Russian.Transairion wrote...

Edit: the master race thingy is a joke

I hate sound of my own voice.
I only speak when I spoken to.
I only speak when I have to. For example I only speak when player take over 2 minutes to ready up.
Also I speak and speak and I don't know that my mic is working or no.
Also I the quite one.
If you don't like it. Tough. It is me. That how I am.
Sorry I being blunt.

There is a surprising lack of nozzles on ME3 MP - well..I've been surprised, anyway. Not all multiplayer shooters can say the same. So far in ME3 I've only had a couple of guys get stupid in chat, and one German guy who wouldn't stop singing "American Girl"... badly.
Um... Not sure if I should facepalm or start laughing...
Edit:
Some of the Origin handles can make things a bit difficult...
"XXX@#D00DXXX watch out for the-"
*instakill*
"-phantom behind you."
It's also a bit difficult when you shout out warnings and don't use people's handles...

If all the teammates know how to play( or at least 2 or 3) they do really well.
People who don't seem to know well would often follow and stick to the group.
It's actually surprising and feel rewarded that we can pull off teamwork that well.
And I haven't experienced someone with mic talk about 'strategy'. Rather, I hear them swear a whole lot often. (Either it's directed to enemies or other players)

why don't people use their mics? i get more communication and teamwork on b/s than on g/p and that's rather sad. it's boring to spend an entire game or multiple games with a group of people who won't communicate or stratagize.
Frankly I agree. The reason why at times I don't is because I hear people blast their TVs on the other end of my headset which bugs me so If I say "I'm down" on my mike I doubt the person blasting their TV would care to hear what I've said. Frankly i feel communication is ideal for gold. But however I do get nervous talking to random people and am afraid that I might sound like a jerk just because I am trying to give tactical advice since I am a tactician ontop of being friendly or joining conversations at the same time.

Sadly a lot of the time when I speak I am instantly mocked by american players for been briddish aka British. Its really quite annoying so I only really speak when I play with people on my friends list or if the person first response isn't 'oh hey its a briddish dude'
I've not encountered that yet - just the opposite, in fact. Added six new people to my friends list this week, all Americans who liked talking to friendly Brits. That said, in a lot of matches I've been in a private party with friends so I''ve not heard or provoked bigots...
Boog, you've been playing with idjits. I'm on the PC and my friends list is made up of Americans, Australians, Brittish and Canadian players as well as one or two from South America or Germany. Don't write us all off

I rarely play bronze anymore, and just use it for experimenting. If I actually run into people, I tend not to give advice much anymore - I seem to wind up in matches with other high level N7s trying stuff out too. But when I started out, there were people I added to my friends list because they were willing to give advice and cure other people of noobishness.
Mind, there's a good way and a bad way to do it. If people don't take advice, I don't get wound up about it. If someone's twittery causes the group to wipe, I'd rather join another match than lean on someone about thier build or loadout. There's some wiggle room - if someone goes hot dogging on g/p, and keeps dying, they will usually figure out right quick why nobody is jogging half the map to rez their corpse more than once or twice. But if we go through two waves of that, I'll get on the mic and recommend they stay with the group.
It's a game - everybody have fun, dammit!

If I don't have my mic plugged in, I can usally hear what others have to say and I'm fine with that, but as soon as someone starts yelling out orders or something I will do the exact opposite just to annoy them. Usually these players are the worst players in a particular lobby and I think it's funny to let them know that by not listening to them. I sure as hell don't need advice from someone doing worse than everybody else in the lobby.
