More attention grabbing...

I didn't record the whole thing, but the latest game I did was a 4 Gun Cryo Soldier.  The reason I played him was that I wanted to reevaluate Cryo Ammo, but I had also been wanting to do a game where I took a Soldier through with all four guns ME1 and ME2 style.  That meant I had to keep them relatively light, which was ok with me because initially I went with ME1 and ME2 modeled weapons like Mantis, Katana, Avenger, Predator into Viper, Scimitar, Vindicator, Carnifex.  I started this character over the summer, but had taken a break until right before the Firefight Pack and Leviathan came out, which is when I picked it back up.  Hence the use of the Harrier in most of these.

Earth: Defend the Missile Battery

Build:

I will keep this brief since there is no reason to spell everything out and there are only a few things of import.

Adrenaline Rush can be leveled however you want.  I tend to prefer the Bonus Power evolution at the end, at least for Single Player.  With the Cryo Soldier I would recommend it though, for reasons I will get to in a minute.  I also tend to go Hardening in SP, mainly because I don't want a whole bunch of time dilation.

Concussive Shot is a much maligned power, but it is somewhat useful here.  The main use will be with Amplification so you have a "Fire and Forget" method of freezing unprotected targets.  Setting off Tech Bursts or Cryo Explosions is a secondary use.  Make sure to pick Amplification on Ash and Garrus so that they also freeze targets with it.  Shatter is ok to get for Shepard, but I prefer Recharge on the squad.  As for Rank 4, I also prefer Force and Damage since the Radius evolution isn't all that much better.

Cryo Ammo is predominantly a CC ammo power, so I make sure to get the Squad evolution for more CC.  Take the Headshot damage for Rank 5 (somewhat weapon dependent), and for Rank 6 go with whatever.  Maybe weirdly I sort of like the Damage Combo despite preaching about how it is a CC power.

For a bonus power, I settled on Proximity Mine, which is now my favorite pure combat Soldier bonus power.  And that is due to Damage Taken.  This is a 25% multiplicative damage bonus to any damage calculations that are to be applied to the debuffed target.  And it stacks with Garrus's mine.  You can also stack with Liara's Warp or whatever other debuff you like.

Weapons are up to you.  I would just like to mention that the Viper actually works pretty decently with this setup if you can get consistent headshots.  This is due to it essentially one-shot freezing any unprotected enemy, and the low rate of fire and high accuracy make it a good weapon for spamming Concussive Shot in between each shot.  The heavy pistols could fill this role as well if you would rather, as would the Saber.  You may also want some sort of rapid fire weapon to just hose down targets with.  Revenant, Hurricane, Hornet, Harrier, Punisher are all decent.  Or you could go shotgun.  It really doesn't matter.  I would just stay away from single shot rifles and the poor-mediocre assault rifles.

Maybe that wasn't all that brief, but at least you can get an idea of what I was going for.

Oh and one last thing... I added some music over the dead air in the Missile Battery portion. :)

You can't go wrong with Cryo on the Viper. I stopped using the squad evolution because you can freeze mobs on your own. Instead I let Ash and Garrus use their own ammo powers and evolve their CS for Shatter and Amp. Allowing them to knock around the enemies I've frozen and chip away at defenses.

Interesting.

I would have thought for AP or Disruptor you might as well go with Shredder for them though, since those amplifications don't do a whole lot.

If you find yourself shooting at shields a lot the 3 or 4 bars the Disruptor CS is quite useful, and it's not blocked by cover. But yeah AP CS doesn't do much outside of turrets and pyros, it can be timed to finish off tougher armor to trigger tech explosions, inefficient but it looks cool.
