I purchased ME3 Collector's Edition for PC a month ago.  I've searched f\\the forums and the internet for a resolution, but have come up with nothing.  Here's my problem.....

I've installed ME3 with the latest patch and when I start the game, everything is fine.  When I get to the first scene involving combat, no problems.  So far, so good.  I first notice that the medigel icon is red.  I walk up to it, still red.  I can't pick up the item so I move on to the door that is slightly ajar.  That too is red.  After about 2 minutes of moving around, I get that open.  Moving on......

I get to the second scene involving combat.   Kill the reapers, still no problems.  Then I move to the two Allaince soldiers, I run into another red action icon.  Here's where I'm stuck.  No matter how much I've moved around, I still cannot get any action to advance forward or to trigger the next scene.

I've deleated and re-installed the game several times.  I've tried re-assinging the spacebar key, not importing a ME2 character, and I've made sure that I've installed the latest patch.  Nothing has worked.

Has anyone had problems with this?  Possibly a bad game?  Any suggestions would be greatful at this point.

Have you tried a different video resolutions? What is your PC system specs? It helps the the folks here narrow down probabilities if you give them more information to guess by...

When I got ME2, I had issues with the action Icons and they went away when I changed the video resolution which I run at 1280 x 720 on my Nvidia card for both ME2 and ME3, and don't get these issues. Hope that helps...

Yes.  I've tried everything.  Like I mentioned, I've had ME3 for a month.  I did manage to find a way to get the action icons to work.  I hit the adrenaline hot key and that allowed me to get a green icon.  This is a major pain and slows the game experience down. 

My PC is about a year old with the latest drive updates.  It's been frustrating to say the least.  Nobody at Bioware or EA would offer to help with a solution.
