I just had a disturbing epiphany. I do NOT want the Warden to return. Ever.

I think any return of the Warden would be very difficult now. I think I'd rather just be told what happens in a codex entry or something. DAO with all the dlc and Awakening is an amazing game and story by itself, I think it might be better if we were left wondering rather than see them butcher the Warden's character like they did Revan's.

For me it was a perfect ending. I mean the warden has done enough. So my Warden tracked down Morrigan and together they left through the portal, and when the plotholes, streamlining and bad writing destroys all of Thedas, they won't be around anymore.

I gotta agree wih you...Alistair and Zevran looked horrible in DAII.But if they do decide to bring The Warden back hopefully we can make him/her over from scratch,it would also be nice if they gave us the sames character models we used to make our Warden in Origins(or at least make ones as close as possible to the ones in Origins to compensate for the new engine)Though I know this is asking a lot,and probably won't happen .

I absolutely want to see my Wardens again. I played (and am playing) DA:O six times so that I could eventually see all of the different things each of them did, and each warden's story, play out over the course of the series. So I want the Warden back, not playable, but as an important npc in a cameo mission type thing that changes according to where you decided your warden should go (if they survived) or as a cameo appearance wherever they would be when you otherwise would encounter that part of the game world.

My human noble warden is the king of Ferelden. When I go to Ferelden, I want to see him rather than Anora or Alistair, with Anora but not replaced by her. I want Leliana around to acknowledge her official concubine status, even as I hope Leli will be a companion again.

My city elf warden stayed on after DA:A. I want to see her either visiting there or as a participant whenever we see Denerim.

My mage warden joined Morrigan in the Black City. I want to see him whenever she shows up. And I want to see Morrigan. There's no reason it should be set in stone that a single stab wound would definitely kill her if you chose to try.

My dalish warden went back to the dalish tribes. I want to see him playing a role with whatever dalish clan we have major dealings with, one way or another.

I went back and replayed the last 30 something hours of my dwarven noble warden just so I could potentially see him in Orzammar, rather than be mentioned in death.

Wherever my dwarven casteless warden ends up (currently playing), I want to see her there.

I want them all to speak with unique voices. As cameos or short roles, getting six different VA performances (for human/elf/dwarf male/female) shouldn't be an issue. It doesn't need to be the same two VAs like we'd need for species selection in the new game's protagonist (which I also support wholeheartedly). I'm not at all worried about what each warden should sound like. They only ever spoke in incidental gameplay anyway, not an issue.

The Warden's appearance is also not an issue. Just allow us the option to either import and edit our original wardens, select a preset, or design them from scratch along with our new pc and our Hawkes. If you don't care what they look like, you won't lose anything by however the import would look or a preset. If you do care, it's likely you enjoy designing characters anyway and it's just more fun. I'd definitely edit all three myself (assuming the import wasn't beautiful to begin with). Editing is quicker than designing from scratch anyway, shouldn't be a problem.

As much as your warden could do in the epilogues, it's not so much that it's all that difficult to overcome to incorporate them wherever they should be. I want to see my Wardens. If they're not where they should be or they die off camera, then I'll be very disappointed. It can be done and done well, and I would absolutely hate for people's unfounded pessimism about it on these boards to result in BioWare just leaving them on the chopping block. I'd hate that, about as much as I hate the ME3 endings. Don't take the easy way out.

Shepard blindly accepts a no-win scenario from the star child.

Revan gets turned into a madman and is killed by a group of random Empire lackeys.

What lows would they sink the Warden to? I never want to find out.

It gets even more disturbing when you remember what EA's influence did to the Avatar.....

They killed the Exile in a book.

...she died like a ****. And she wasn't even at a quarter of the power level that KOTOR2 implied. What with the Exile being a Force wound and all.

I saw the YouTube video for the Revan fight/death and the HK-47 fight/death. Made me really wonder what the hell the point was of having them in the game. Why not leave them back in KOTOR1 era? Having Revan go out there... looking for something. Maybe dying delaying a Sith Empire invasion that saved the Republic? Not being a sith experiment for centuries and then crazed boss fight.

More than a little disrespectful. But in my own headcannon the MMO doesn't exist so... I feel ok. It's like a 'What If' comic.

Da3 should continue your wardens story. Your warden should not be voiced and they should adhere to the art direction of origins so your elf warden doesn't have that pans labyrinth look and sten whether cameo or party member doesn't have rams horns. Please just make a proper sequel to origins
