It is with great sadness that I regret too inform you of the passing of someone who, though not in the last year or so,made a great contribution too NWN1,

Im afraid too say that 9fires ,passed away on August the third, aged 36.

I still think his CAP project server was the best I ever played on ,his custom stuff was truly incredible,

I have asked if it possible that it can get uploaded too the Vault, but am unsure atm if this is possible.

With great sadness I wish you all the best 9,see you eventually mate.

[didnt know where else too post this, and felt people here should know]

So sad, so young. Farewell fellow campaigner. *salutes* Though 9 has gone, may the fires he kindled burn on. Bless you all.

Be well. Game on!

Condolences to his family and friends.... I remember him as an interesting person, and 36 is too young.

9fires helped me out by explaining to me step by step on how to fix a number of things I messed up on with some script merging a few years ago. He was a great person and seemed very happy to help me. He explained more to me about scripting in a couple of paragraphs, than I had taught myself in two years. Such a bummer to hear he is gone. He will be missed.

Don't know him, but its always sad to hear when someone dies, and at such a young age. I am sure he was a good person and a great NWN player! Maybe I have seen him around and don't remember but still its always sad to see a fellow NWN player gone.

I hope the best for his family and friends.

I am just seeing this now... :(

9fires was a great person, kind and sharing and we had started collaboration on some Arbor Falls work.
in fact he hosted my forums that I currently use.
I will miss him greatly.
at the very least I hope wherever he is now, NWN is opensourced and ready for all his experiments!.

Here's to you 9fires!
