Why have a technical support forum when the technical people are not helping to resolve or even look at the issues at hand?  Is this company solely relying on people who have nothing to do with the hands on support of these games to handle the needs of the community?  Someone please tell me what is the point?

If you thought Bioware/EA is bad, take a good look at ArenaNet...

These forums are primarily a feedback forum for Bioware and also a forum for community support.

Community members try to help other members resolve issues by finding solutions ourselves, whilst Bioware logs the feedback and tries to address as many issues as possible that come up in these threads when they do their subsequent patches for the game.

Actually some official Bioware people do occasionally post here.

But as GhostwriterDoF said, this forum is for users who know the solutions to help others with the same problems. There are other places you can go for official support (like the dreaded Origin-help text chat!)

Terry: I'm dealing with A-Net as well...

Ghost and Richter: I hear what you both are saying, but just look at the sheer amount of problems, does this look like help?

I can't play ME3 for more than a few minutes before it freezes.  I left for Afghanistan just when the whole "ending" debacle started, but I could play and when I return (after four months), no play at all.  I apologize, but the community can't solve those problems and when the company doesn't respond, that just tells me that they really don't care.  Case in point, they can continually create these different "operations" for multiplayer, but can't focus on the issues at hand that players are consistently yelling about.  I buy collectors editions of games because I enjoy the extra stuff that comes with it, but when you can't play the game that you bought then what?  I just want to play and enjoy the game and I can't and the powers that be are offering ZERO help, but can keep right on creating multiplayer operations without pause.

I've been assisiting people with technical issues since the BSN existed, so it's not pointless. If you want official support, you can always go to http://help.ea.com

Only a couple of weeks after a game is released. Right now you will very rarely see someone from BioWare post on this forum.

Fredvdp:  AHA!  That's my point.  I have sent e-mails to EA and to no ones surprise, no response.  If you could fix my issue, I would be eternally grateful my friend.  But, I don't believe that you would be able to fix this unless you work at Bioware.

It's better to use live chat support.

About the game freezing, this can be caused by a corrupt installation. Try to repair the installation in Origin, and if that doesn't work, reinstall the game entirely.

It also helps to post your system specs with driver info so we can rule out insufficient hardware. Since the Unreal Engine isn't demanding, that's rarely the issue, but there have been people here claiming to meet the requirements while running the game on an Intel IGP.

I also want to point out that the most helpful members on this forum, Bogsnot and Gorath Alpha, are no longer active. Bogsnot got banned for expressing criticism against EA and I don't know why Gorath Alpha is no longer around. Neither of these users owned ME3 so they couldn't post on this subforum anyway.

It's not better to use live chat support, they have no power to do anything, they're just there so we have someone to yell at when we're disconnected or we lost credits or xp, they cant do anything about it, but they just say "please wait a couple of hours and it will be resolved" when really they do nothing and just expect us to forget about it or lose interest, it's unbelievable that a company can care so little for it's customers, I'm never paying for another EA/BioWare game again

@ Fredvdp
Bogsnot was banned? Sadness...

Just because Bioware isn’t posting in the threads, don’t think they are not at least monitoring what is being reported.

@ Chocolate Kills
Your frustration is understandable and you make a valid point about Support through EA/Bioware for pressing issues like the game not running. When a game fails to start, panic, (or even rage) often ensues.

Last week I was even dropped from the server whilst downloading the Leviathan DLC from the Main Menu screen of the game, which caused my download to pause until I exited ME3 and restarted it in Origin, after having to Go Online, manually. Plus, I have not been able to explore the MP side of ME3 at all (though I’m most interested in the Single Player part of ME3).

At least we do have these threads, and they have been, and continue to be helpful as a lot of us do find resolutions to those issues that pop up, and then post the solutions here to help others in the community. That is a valid point to consider too.

The best thing you can do when looking for help here is to provide as much information about your System, as Fredvdp has stated. Also I would suggest that you should include whether or not you have multiple users set up on your system and what your default Internet browser is too.

After being gone for four months, it might have been something annoyingly simple like updates to your PC that might have reset firewall settings. A new update for Origin just came out, I updated yesterday, it seems to be more stable than the last... (crossing fingers) Good gaming to all...

Twice. First for suggesting to use a sandox program when running Origin. Then his second account got banned when he posted constructive criticism on an EA service in the off-topic forum. Seriously, it was valid criticism and he expressed it in a civilized way. Similarly, Javier Begazo was banned and stripped of his moderator status for saying he never got his pre-order bonus for pre-ordering ME3 on origin.

Live chat rarely does anything. Seems to be a script they read. Better yet, here is their phone number:

It's simple. If they cared about anyone's issues, they would answer. They do answer some threads. Most, they could care less about.

I highly suspect there is a policy against comments on some subjects. Network and related problems which they do not intend to work on due to cost/difficulty of what higher-ups consider working "well enough" would be a business decision. The people making that decision are causing an extreme drop in revenue by way of future business loss...which means those people who are making the decision either do not know their market, or else do not care about their fellow employees and company. The technical fix for these threads requires re-engineering the decision makers...which happens to be both a bug to their business and to this game. I have both business and computer science degrees, and have worked in the stock industry, so I'm not saying it without some expertise. It is the truth, ME and EA will suffer, along with customers, without a fix. Or at least without taking responsibility and talking about the problem.

It looks like on some topics some people are actually forbidden to post.

Well, we aren't allowed to complain err... passionately (due to site rules?), we aren't allowed to give EA grief for their transgressions to us or we get banned. Is that right? Did I read the rules right? And some people basically got banned for nothing? So we could all get banned for posting in this thread then? How many of these sentances will have question marks at the end of them?

This is just not right.

When I mentioned forbidden from comment, I meant employees, not customers. I meant in particular some of the network failure issues. Why do you think something so overwhelmingly important never has any acknowledgement from BW? Customers don't get banned for asking for help.

Thank you for your reply.

Still sucks that people who generally want to help are either banned or told not too because of rules.

Maybe I read your post wrong yet again I apologise if I have.

Nice chatting with you.

I know my rig can handle any game I put on it. It plays everything (except ME3) beautifully on the highest settings and I haven't even overclocked anything yet except the gpu's which are factory overclocked.

I waited since my last post to see if anything cleared, but alas, no. The game continues to freeze and I did reinstall it. I can't play it at all. Bioware has officially lost a customer.
