This my first Gold solo.

Map: Firebase Rio (my favourite map)
Enemy Faction: Geth
Character: Batarian Soldier. Specced Inferno grenades for damage, high DPS and Armor damage. 

Consumables:
Shock trooper upgrade IV (Shotgun and grenade amps)
Ammo: Disruptor IV
Weapon amp: Targeting VI lvl III for headshot damage
Armor amp: Cyclonic modulator III
Weapon: Claymore X (High caliber and smart choke)



Strategy: My strategy was pretty simple. Concentrate on small troopers first and deal with Primes in last.. Avoid getting overwhlemed and evade groups by running around the Barracks. Clear the crowd with inferno grenades.

In objective waves, I first got Escort, then Pizza delivery and finally 1234. Wave 10 was most toughest and I had to use all my missiles to get through it but I didn't use any medi-gel. I am not a Pro but a pretty decent player. This is a significant achivement for me, so thought of sharing with you all.

Pizza delivery in a solo is a nightmare on this map... If you have bad luck you have to go two times from one end to the other...

Did you use the cargo box maze as a base of operations?

Thinking of trying to solo Rio aswell and that mesh of boxes seems like such a nice little fort.

I just wanna hunker down there and take potshots and when the enemy gets near just start leading them on and shooting from corridors.

Yes, thats the best strategy on Rio. Take cover near the corners and throw few inferno grenades (btw thnx BW for buffing the Inferno grenades). Once the shields are down, Headshot and move to another corner.

Very impressive, honestly. This is the most impressive solo I've seen. Batarians are horrible against the Geth.

You must realize that you are now a pro. That's one of the hardest combinations to solo.

This and that 17 minute Cerberus Gold solo are some great stuff today. But this is, by far, the most impressive. No matter how long it took.

Damn it!

Every time I get far without using any consumables I always get sync killed by some very small coincidence.

Just did a Batarian Sentinel match where I go 7 waves without using a single consumable and then right as I was climbing a ladder a Phantom just spawned there and even though I blasted it with Graal shots, I was still sync killed.

Actually Escort and Pizza are manageable. In both objectives you can keep moving and avoid enemy fire by taking cover. However, 1234 is the worst. You are completely exposed and locked in one position and if your luck is bad there could be three Primes shooting from three different locations. All synced to fire at you. Boom-stagger, Boom-Boom Boom-Die!

Nice! Getting both Escort and Pizza on that map solo can be a nightmare. Each of my Solo attempts there has ended up being sabotaged by a horribly located W6 Pizza or Escort.

Lol, Thnk you all for your compliments. The intention of this Solo was also to stop the hatred for Rio/Geth. Many of my frnds frown when I suggest them Rio. Geth are most the predictable enemy. Stop camping on the bridge and start exploring the corridors near the barracks. I am sure you will love this Map.
