well, to each his/her own...but you must not play platinum, ever....

I revive every time when I can, easily, and not risk death.

If I am in the middle of fighting, I will not, generally, unitl I am done with that battle. Exceptions are when the teamate is right next to me and I need their DPS.

If the teamate is near a bunch of enemies/behind the enemy, i don't no matter what (unless perhpas I am a KV - then I do it to show that I am a badass). I have seen that result in a complete wipe too many times to even try now.

Generally, I will revive always, but only when I am good and ready, and it is safe.

Yep. I revive whenever I can. Sometimes someone just needs a little help. Sometimes they're having a bad day. Sometimes all the enemies just seem to focus on one person. Sometimes when I'm playing fury and having an off day I go down a ton. But I usually take a ton of enemies with me and don't stray too far from the rest of the team. I'll usually call out on the mic too only to get me if its feasible, if they can't, don't and I'll gel. Someone who goes down a lot but keeps your flank clear, keeps objectives clear, does objectives, or simpyl puts down a ton of hurt should be revivied. High risk high reward builds are part of the game, if they are supported with revives, they can be highly effective. I will always revive unless its just impossible, or tactically a bad move (running out of time on an objective / too much in the way)

Sounds like you like to lose. I've been in several matches where everyone was going down several times... but also everyone was quick on the revive so we'd usually come out of it. My only "Reviving rule" is not to revive a teammate when an atlas, phantom, or banshee is right over their body. May occasionally make an exception for an Atlas.

Also if I have 6 medi-gel but go down with an ally that doesn't even have to move to revive me, you better believe I'll let myself bleed-out before gelling if someone is that close (assuming we aren't absolutely swarmed and he can get to me without going down). If the mission fails, its the teammates fault at that point.

Edit: Grammar correction

I always revive when I can. Now, someone who goes down 5 ties in one wave...that's a asking a bit much.

Anyway I hope people will revive me. When I play Fury I tend to go down a lot, but I also dish out a lot of damage.

I won't go on a suicide mission to revive a teammate, even if I did all the loyalty missions.

That being said, if I'm on an Infiltrator or Krogan Vanguard, I will break off immediately and revive my teammate. Krogan Vanguard can only suicide by charging a Banshee.

You die running to the circle: I will pick you up
You were in the circle, left, and died: I'm not doing a thing.

I revive whenever I can. That said, I won't go risking my life if it's really unsafe. I will first try to kill everything around the downed person before going in.

Edit: I forgot to add that I break this rule if I'm an infiltrator.

However, if someone needs constant revival or is a jerk......then I might let them spectate. It's not always so bad to spectate. It helped me learn how other people play.

The first rule of battlefield triage/first aid is return fire. Don't expect to be revived when I am in a fire fight unless I can get to a covered location. You are better off losing one soldier than 2.

Incorrect, the first rule of battlefield triage/first aid is don't talk about battlefield triage/first aid. :P

I've only got 1 rule. I'll revive you if it won't kill me to do so. If there is a brute and a banshee on your head, you're on your own unless I can kill them before you die or they leave the area.

A couple of weeks ago, I played with two obvious jerks. They were talking all sorts of **** and wouldn't shut up. When we went down, they would say things like "I can't believe he went down. I'm not reviving him". Dumb stuff like that. These guys died just as much as the other guy and myself. We still revived them... In cases like this, I may or may not revive. This is really the only case that I can think of in which I think its justifiable to not revive IMO.

I'll always revive if possible, saw a dude "tea bagging" (is that the phrase) a guy yesterday, I felt bad for him so I ruined the jerks fun and revived him, I think the only time I won't is during extraction, when for some odd reason the player is on the opposite side of the map, unless I'm an Infiltrator and in that case they do get one chance.

How do you tea-bag in this game?  I mean, there is no crouch button..so... ?

70 times 7

In general, if they appear to be in a place I can get to, then I'll try. If they are under 3 primes and turret is shooting everyone up, they have to wait.

Why would you not revive people?

That makes no sense to me. When the person is trying but gets downed alot I will try to revive him/her everytime. Why should I make it harder on me and let everyone bleed out and have the enemy fire only directed towards me? Also I'm not a jerk, I try to help others through the match.

I mean, it´s a coop multiplayer, right? So just don´t be a jerk and revive your teammates. Or just stick to solo games.

Little thread about reviving I made some time ago:

i always revive people if i can. for me it's kinda fun to help in that way. if i'm in the middle of an objective however and the person is on the other side of the map, well, cya. got more important things to do. the only other time i don't help someone is if they ****** me off, i.e. cursing at everyone through the mic.

I revive everybody no matter how bad they are. My personal favorite was reviving a leecher who thought he had been ohk'd. I kept on him while he just stood their until he disconnected.

Hey there are times when I don't want to be revived.

Like when there is a turret right around the corner where my body is. Or when I have like three sentinels on top of me.

Honestly I don't mind not being revived as long as you have a good reason. Although if you think my tactics are terrible you could be constructive about it and tell them rather than just letting them die.

I have a similar rule to most people here.

As long as it's safe to reach you, I will revive you, if it's not then I'll kill the enemies near you and then revive you, even if you are'nt a team-player, I will still revive you, as to me you are automatically considered "Bullet-Magnet"

i try to revive teammates as much as i can even if they're on the other side of the map. less when it is an objective round. i hate it when teammates die in a objective round and they do not use medigel to get themselves up.
