In infiltrator class, I will find a way to revive you even if you are on the other end of the map as long as you dont get stomped. In short with this class I will do whatever it takes.
If i am a squishy class, then i am sorry. If you are in the middle of 3 phantoms I will either use a rocket if you have been helping the team out or let you bleed or wait for support from my allies

It doesn't make you an elitist... Elitists are usually GOOD at the thing they believe should dominate.
So yeah, you're not an elitist, you're just a terrible team-mate and a bad player.

Welcome to the club.
Ashen there's a difference between not reviving someone over and over again while they do the same thing... and "reviving people twice a match at most".
I consider myself a very good player, but do I sometimes go down > 2 times per match in Gold/Platinum? You bet I do.

OP is using a hyperbole, I've played with him before.
I'm pretty sure I got rezzed more than twice.

Then the OP is a liar as well as a fool. Your typical console peasant then.
I'm more surprised that you went down > twice in one match. I thought that was grounds for you to be disowned by your elitist family.

Top hat/monocle Wrex makes everything better. I could probably make a post proclaiming the Locust to be the king of SMG's and expect to be taken seriously.

I don't see what my 'console peasantry' has to do with anything.

My only problem is that your rule is too simple. Two revives. Some playstyles do involve some risk, though. If that's coupled with a high enough damage output that keeping them alive is substantially better than leaving them dead, then your two revives rule is going to decrease your team's efficiency. If someone's right next to someone else, I generally won't go for the revive myself, because I expect that they can handle it. If you're that someone, then suddenly we're down a player, and with your rule, they could be the guy killing every damned thing ever, or it could be a hack or escort that'll take 20 seconds longer.Smallpox_Jenkins wrote...

I guess I just dislike anyone that makes the match harder. That includes me. Brought a level 11 Kroguard to gold earlier... substantially less immortal at level 11. Against Reapers. And Banshee magnet grabs.

When I said 2 revives I was exaggerating. That number changes depending on how I see you play/act.
If you're being Johnny ****** and meleeing Banshees with a class you have no business meleeing a Banshee with, then you might get the 2. If you are in no way helping out with objectives and are otherwise just trying to top the scoreboard, you get 2 if I'm feeling generous. Etc, etc.
On the other hand, if you are being Jimmy Notadouche, which is th eopposite of Johnny there, then you get limitless revives form me.
You guys should really stop taking things so serious, which considering this post, reeks of hypocrisy.

If they're clearly AFK, I will risk much to revive them, just to get to that two minute marker.

They sure as hell won't start playing as a team when you leave them alone when you could have been ressing them, or start ****ing at them trough mic.

Nobody has ever started playing as a team after the 7th revive. And they are hardly a good distraction.Arppis wrote...
Hey look... I won't revive either if the guy is in between turrets and some Phantoms. But when you can revive, why won't you? They will serve atleast as distraction or they might actualy start playing as part of the team as they see, you got their back.
