You don't get hollywood actors to do an anime. 

Why not? The only difference between an anime and western animation is that anime is animated in Japan.  Keith David was Goliath and Spawn, so it's not like he's a stranger to cartoon voice-over. Also, Orson Welles, Leonard Nimoy and Robert Stack did the original Transformers movie too, which was just as anime (if not moreso) as this.

Both Henriksen and David have worked in animation, so there´s really no excuse.

Does it really matter? Getting Keith David or Lance Henriksen would have been awesome, but their parts are probably going to be fairly minor anyway. All that really matters is getting Freddie Prinze to voice James, which they did, so suck it!

Well I'm no expert when it comes to anime but that Krogan looked kind of weird and that guy voicing Anderson sounded really like he was trying too hard,also was that Vega having a fistfight with the Collector General?

Yes I do. And a lot of those voices sound laughably exaggerating.

What ****ing Trailer are you watching... The closest you could say is overacting is the guy trying to do a keith david impression

Everybody else sounds fine... maybe underacted like Travis' Toni but no wear near  overacting/over the top.

They sound overacting to me. Especially the Krogan. If you don't think otherwise, that's your problem.

4 things which made me laugh for 10 minutes from that trailer:

- Vega with some badge saying forever Normandy ... like WTF guys ? Is it some kind of fanclub in the Aliance systems or what...

- I have seen first time ever in Mass Effect someone with glasses

- dual wield AR... It reminds me World of Warcraft and patch for dual wielding two-hands for warriors ...

- Whole quality of that anime ... srsly ? This is mark of quality ... it looks like a pokemon

If I was 12 I would probably have liked this, I'm not and I don't. I don't mind anime, I hate kiddie anime though, would rather watch Tom & Jerry or is that still banned in the UK? Unfortunately, when I heard about an anime movie project this is exactly what I feared, am a really big Bioware & ME fan but I'm just going to totally skip this and just read a synopsis on wikipedia or something, just like I did with Deception, which is sitting on my shelf completely unread and I'm still waiting for a reprint.

As much as I mostly liked Vega, nothing about his collector/colony story made me think "hey, I really want to know much more about this tale!". It sounded like a quick means of trying to recant the 'alliance are dumb' stance ME2 had going now that we're shoehorned into working for them again. Besides, I already know how this story ends, so I'd only be watching this for the characters or the animation/artwork.

Vega never came off as Shep's best friend...That's Liara apparently since by default she's the "closest" person you have. Vega isn't shoved down anybody's throat the way your making it out to be.
