Anybody who has the balls to cut through enough Collectors to take on the Collector General in a fistfight is a BAMF.

Looks like crap and will probably have an atrocious ending even if the rest is passable.

Sorry but for a movie set in my favorite universe I would be much more interested in a live action film than an animated one.

So you're going to tell me, that from all the amazing Mass Effect characters they can choose from, they seriously took Vega for an animated movie?! -_-

Totally not interested. The trailer didn't feel appealing at all. I'll pass.

Wait for the sequel "Mass Effect : Integrity Lost" starring Diana Allers & Colin Moriarty.

Youtube trailer had a 12.28.12 release date, previously it was scheduled for November. Confirmed, IMDB still lists November 13th as its release. I'm presuming the Youtube trailer's date is incorrect.

I'm not really jazzed to see Vega with a different voice actor (especially the Prinze, yuck), but I am very pleased to see  Production I.G. behind the animation. That choice inspires faith from me.

No, it is a cartoon for people with deficits in intellect.

This seems to be on the same quality tier as the Halo short done by the people who did DragonBall Z...

Horrible!

Wow, BioWare... couldn't even be bothered to cast Keith David and Lance Henricksen in their proper roles. Just like with Michael Beattie not being Mordin in ME3.

Weak. Just... weak.

There goes any semblance of me even possibly wanting to get this: you cast your blandest new character from ME3 correctly, but not Anderson or Hackett.

You don't get hollywood actors to do an anime.

Why not? The only difference between an anime and western animation is that anime is animated in Japan.  Keith David was Goliath and Spawn, so it's not like he's a stranger to cartoon voice-over. Also, Orson Welles, Leonard Nimoy and Robert Stack did the original Transformers movie too, which was just as anime (if not moreso) as this.

What's the budget for this anime?

-Note: Anderson and Hackett have replacement VAs-

The Krogan still looks like Kenpachi Zaraki from Bleach

Thank goodness that got rid of the guy with the awful voice over...

FPJ sounds good as always -Did I make the wrong decision?-

Also

Collector General Boxing... The  Hidden level of Mike Tyson's Knockout!

and somehow... the collectors got even grossier

Voice cast
Lt. James Vega: Freddie Prinze Jr.
Treeya: Monica Rial
Messner: Vic Mignogna
Milque: Todd Haberkorn
Essex: Eric Vale
Nicky: Josh Grelle
Capt. Toni: Travis Willingham
Brood: Justin Cook
Mason: Marc Swint
Adm. Steven Hackett: Bruce Carey
Kamille: Laura Bailey
April: Jad Saxton
Christine: Kara Edwards
Archuk: Jason Douglas
Capt. David Anderson: Patrick Seitz

Worst DLC ever

Looks 100x better than the Dragon Age anime. Still looks bad. Voice acting... well, there's better, there's worse. Kind of embarassing they didn't get Henriksen and David to reprise their roles though.

I still haven't got a clue who considered it a good idea to release an anime about the backstory of a new (and neither very anticpated nor that much loved) character that long after the release of the game.

That is just so completely untrue. Maybe today's anime is crap but come on, I grew up with these cartoons. The animation was unmatched at the time.

Vega's popularity being subjective and hard enough to define -He has faired better then Kanye Taylor... I mean Jacob-

Releasing it this late after the game is a good point.

Maybe a month later... though with the whole ending fiasco it would have been boycotted.

as to why Vega... Why not?

Vega as a character got screwed over by them cutting the intro so they can have the ****ing Reaper invasion of Earth! be the tutorial level and He gets kicked out of the mars mission after the first firefight.

Hell most people don't go see him until after the citadel or Palaven-strictly cause that the first mission you have time with him-

So Giving a full expansion on Vega's Backstory seems perfectly logical to me since while the Collector mission is most likely what encompasses the last part of the movie. The block pack fighting-something Vega only alluded to when he mentioned fighting a Really tough SOB Krogan... Kropachi Zaraki- will be the first part. It enriches the character and I will always support that.

But most will go well why not Garrus and his stint on Omega... Homeworlds already did that, and yes I get it, people just want 25-60 minutes of Garrus gunning down Omega thugs and delivering corny one liners as he does it. -Basically Mass effect: Boondock Saints-

Garrus has had the three core games, and said comic. His been rather fleshed out and enriched. It be next sure... but it just feel like an addendum instead of an expansion.

Though with our luck it'll be about Liara being the worst Shadow Broker in History

Had this been released at the same time as the game and maybe been included in the CE it would have at least helped explaining Vega and his part in the botched opening to ME3.

waiting x months after the game seemed odd.
