.....Why does Aria have Dreadnoughts?

In order to continue the longstanding tradition of maintaining strict cannon when it's convenient.

Knife fight range is exceedingly rare, for instance.

Well, I think the existence of this DLC was never in question.

The real question is when BioWare will announce it and when they'll release it.

Implying that the Reaper origin story is worth a damn.

I would say yes. It is a very interessting story. Would not mind a DLC or Book or Comic that delves deeper into their background.

No, it's nonsensical and very weakly structured.

Some very delusional entities are sick of their slaves getting killed by synthetics, so they create a synthetic to stop it, which ends up killing them all and then turns their bodies into more machines to harvest more of the cattle with. While those machines are actively promoting synthetic rebellions in certain cycles, which contradicts their sole reason of existing.

There's absolutely no point in that story. If anything, it just undermines the ominous threat from the Reapers, by showing that they're just a bunch of puppets who are following their degenerate leader's orders.

I've read fan fictions that had better continuity than this. Paid less for them too.

Because, Mass Effect 2 dlc had a drammatic impact on the Suicide mission.

At least those DLCs accomplished something. We didn't get crap from the Leviathan DLC, with the exception of another turkey slap to remind us that the Catalyst is still there, screwing up years of gaming in fifteen minutes.

Because, recruiting the original Reapers to your cause and gaining valuable insight to your enemy accomplishes nothing.

What does it accomplish that already can't be accomplished? Additional info in itself just isn't thrilling to everyone, and it's understandable.

But then, why would you buy something thats sole purpose is to expand upon knwon information?

If you're saying it accomplishes extra info, that's fine. That isn't going to interest everybody in itself, and logic says it's not a must buy to them.

I bought it and scored it an 8 in the survey. It accomplishes adding more ME stuff to do. My end result was the exact same without Leviathan. Clearly it doesn't accomplish anything in that area.

Does it have too? Does other Dlc do that?

Doesn't make sense that Aria would have access to Turian military ships, let alone Alliance ships (that makes even less sense).

Why not? Stolen ships, salvaged & repaired scrapped ships. Isn't Terminus fleet in War Assets codex described similary?

I wonder why the green haze, maybe there's suppoused to be some green planet in the background (in final DLC codex entry)?

Well the way I see it, a highly militarised society like the Turians wont just abandon ships because they're old. They'd be reserviced, used for scrap etc. And even if they weren't, they'd probably still be under guard. Doubt Aria'd be able to get her hands on them. Still, the Turian ships are a *possibility* if the Turians have been using that same design for ages (then I can understand her getting one every now and then - ie. over the centuries).

But for the Alliance ships? They've only been on the galactic stage for a couple decades at the most (and only have a few hundred ships) - so the chances of Aria getting her hands on multiple Alliance capital ships is very, very unlikely.

That's because I wasn't fed up with some the worst writing in video game history back then as I am now.

And the whole "the journey is better than the destination" BS they have got going, for that matter.

The gameplay of the Leviathan DLC was the best part of it. The ending was underwhelming and pointless. Which seems to be the only consistent thing in ME3.

they're going to do a movie sequel... well I wouldn't be opposed if JW would direct and write (he did indeed do a bang up job with the avengers)

better to fanboy over a good game, than trying to defend a bad one...

I, for one, hate it with a passion.

The problem with them doing anything with the Reapers besides keeping them shrouded in mystery was they were going to have people that think the backstory was lame.
