Be more specific about Shotguns. Do you mean Shotguns that can retain a decent cooldown, or Shotguns period? Cause if we aren't talking about weight restrictions, I can name more than 3.

I thought of the projectile shooters right after I posted that, and facepalmed...

However... In terms of strength to weight..... It still basically kicks everythings.... Rectal region.

The Phalanx is actually REALLY good for being a uncommon.

If I am not using my Talon, you will see the Phalanx at my side.

Scorpion, Paladin, Talon, Acolyte, Carnifex are all better. Although, if it's your personal preference, as long as you're good with it, you can use the Predator for all I care.

Scorpion totally sucks against anything other than Phantoms and the Acolyte is pretty much worthless other than stripping shields.

The Phalanx is good in any situation versus any enemy... and its bullets don't take like 2 seconds to even deal damage.

You can't be serious.

Well when it takes every shot of your whole entire capacity to get a Prime down to 6 bars of armor...

And 2-3 shots to kill a husk.... with only 4 rounds a mag.

Yeah it needs a buff. it was weak when i unlocked it at I, and still at X. went back to wsing other guns. needs a weigh reduction, and a rof and damage buff.

That's like saying getting electrocuted is better than burning to death. It still sucks either way.

Disciple just seems to be slightly better, mainly due to it's weight. They both are completely outclassed by the rest of the shotguns.

The Desciples weight makes it an alternative to the Avenger, not the Scimitar....

I just find it to be a nice backup shotgun for soldier. More so in singleplayer where i can have 3 guns. On a caster, I would rather have recharge speed than dps. (Although I onlyusemecarnifex.)

So i'm the only one who didnt notice that?  I think the disciple would benefit from a faster draw/ holster time and a quicker rof and recharge. It doesnt do crap for dps but It could be an awesome backup weapon with these buffs.

I think the disciple could use a bit more damage but the most important thing it needs is 100% stagger. Every shot staggers every single time. That's what it needs.

It took me 3 playthroughs of Me2 to let it grow on me.

However. I never liked the GPS.

Ironically, I liked the Schimtar more on Grunt than the Claymore.

I miss heavy weapons.

Always got the Rev in the collector ship. 
Didn't like the Claymore too much and the Widow was pretty good but not my type.

Gps was.....
rape on the assault sentinel but before I got it, I used the Scimitar 24/7

Scimitar needs buff direly, that's for sure. My suggestion would be to increase it's accuracy from 8 to 10 so it'll be same as claymore, and increase ROF from 100 to 150 so it'll fire as fast as piranha. This will make it a good alternative to the piranha. Katana and Eviscrator also need a small damage buff.
