Okay, I am going to stretch something and make it up completely-- tell me if this sounds too weird: Elven Griffin shapeshifter? Lets say an elf got lost in the caverns and was transported by an Eluvian to the other side where 'Surprise!' The griffins still exist in the other realm.  Said elf who is a mage and running from the Kirkwall Chantry- hence why it got lost-- happens to run into Morrigan who needs a babysitter for Old God Baby, and in trade teaches the elf how to shapeshift into a griffin.  When Morrigan returns from 'Witch Hunt' either with the warden and without the warden, the elf-- who makes sure Morrigan is healed, goes back to the 'other side' to snoop on Flemeth.  If the warden stabbed Morrigan, said elf will be hunting the Warden.  Possible plot quest, if the Warden agrees to help the elf snoop on Flemeth, the elf will join the warden.  If the elf runs into Hawke instead of the Warden, then it will forgo vengeance as Flemeth is the real problem & will settle up later.   Then the adventure begins, Hawke 'disappears' from the world view (when Cassandra and Leliana are seeking Hawke) and ends with Morrigan returning with Old God Baby turned teen who is ready to learn about the world it will eventually rule.  Old God Baby/teen is often in animal form.  Morrigan will teach Old God baby how mages are repressed and persecuted, and use this to spark a desire for Old God Baby to reform the world, replace the existing religion and claim Godhood itself.   Flemeth will be seeking out Sandal to steal his hidden God Powers which would explain his magical abilities.  Old God baby, Morrigan, Warden/Hawke, and elf, will try to prevent this as Warden/Hawke appreciated having Sandal around.   Somewhere in this Tale, Morrigan and Flemeth will have it out, where Flemeth wants to rule the world, but Morrigan wants her baby to rule the world and give mages their freedom.  The final battle will take place in Orlais, and during this adventure, there will be a trip to the Qunari lands to read their sacred text in a library hidden by lots of traps, secret and hidden female Qunari priestesses, and a dragon of course.   To find a way to beat Flemeth and possibly discover something about Andraste which is heretical.  They might have the option of adding a Qunari priestess to the party if they can convince the priestess that the Qun is better than the chaos between the Chantry and the mages, and that Old God Baby is the embodiment of that Qun.

Makes perfect sense right?  Yes, I am crazy.....Just chomping at the bit for Dragonage III to come out.

Oh, by the way, and somehow, Old God Teen will ride the shapeshifted Griffin in front of the Grey Wardens and rally them to its cause with the promise to bring back some live Griffins from 'the other side'. Yes, more craziness.

Meant the OP should post his ideas on Fanfiction.net, preferably with paragraphs and using a spell checker.

I think you should ignore eight out of ten posts on this thread. I have no idea where you came up with any of that stuff, but I will say that it's always great to see fans take stories and..run with them.  It'll be interesting to see what the team does with it in actuality (The Eluvian, Morrigan and Flemmeth and the OGB)- I expect it could be equally crazy. :)

1st paragraph: Explore old magic only touched upon in previous games .    Ideas on how to open the story and tie into previous games with the Eluvian.  More information on old magic and shapeshifting and Griffins.

2nd paragraph: Morrigan, Old God teen, female Qunari, added to the story as potential companions.  Plot centers around Flemeth's motives and chaos caused by Chantry/templars vs mages. Visit the Qunari lands during the story. Include a never before seen female Qunari.  Solving the mystery of Sandal's unknown and untapped power.   Gain loyalty from Grey Wardens in Orlais by promising them some Griffins which still survived in the other dimension through the Eluvian, and promising to control future Blights.

3rd paragraph: Idea: New religion created in worship of Old God Teen which strikes a balance between Magic and non Magic users without oppression of mages.    Old God Teen wants to balance power and is capable of manipulating the world's players to prevent anyone from abusing it.    Flemeth wants to steal everyone's power and feeds off chaos.   Ending in Orlais where the Chantry is challenged by a discovery by writings found in a Qunari library.  Showdown between Morrigan and Flemeth.  Old God Teen's rise to power with ability to command not only followers of the new religion, but also Darkspawn and Qunari, depending on how the game is played.

Conclusion:   Can't wait for Dragonage 3, so let me ramble on a few topics I hope are included. Old magic, including Eluvians and shapeshifting; Morrigan and Old God  vs Flemeth; and the new religion that emerges from the chaos.   Instead of uniting the land against the Blight, you are uniting the land.

There're lot of problems with OP.

Teddiliza wrote...

Nah. It's pretty much common for fantasy setting. I was expecting something more.... hmmm... you know extraordinary. Something new, hideous and insane.

Teddiliza wrote...

As far as I know, David Gaider mentioned they're not interested to explore the "other realms". Dragon Age is pretty much about the world of Thedas. At best they'll try to narrate the fade vaguely. Which is good since it will allow me to create and expand  my Warden stories without conflicting with official campaign.

Teddiliza wrote...

And why would my warden stabbed Morrigan, the love of his life and the mother of his son?

Teddiliza wrote...

Possible plot quest, if the Warden agrees to help the elf snoop on Flemeth, the elf will join the warden.  If the elf runs into Hawke instead of the Warden, then it will forgo vengeance as Flemeth is the real problem & will settle up later.

And who is this Hawke? Another BioWare's purple or blue or red character? Male or female? Canon Hawke or save imported and buggy DA 2's character?

Teddiliza wrote...

What about those who never perform DR? OGB does not exist in their games.

Teddiliza wrote...

Morrigan will teach Old God baby how mages are repressed and persecuted, and use this to spark a desire for Old God Baby to reform the world, replace the existing religion and claim Godhood itself.

I don't like this idea. I recalled my Morrigan said, "Something must be preserved," of which I agreed. It's seem to me, she is not interested to change the world, merely preserve what's already in place. I would never allow anything like that to happen. Leave my baby out of this. He is better be raised as humble human and not power hungry god. It's precisely why I choose to follow Morrigan beyond Eluvian. To make sure the baby will not be corrupted either by power or by darkspawan who are also hunting for him.

Teddiliza wrote...

Flemeth will be seeking out Sandal to steal his hidden God Powers which would explain his magical abilities.  Old God baby, Morrigan, Warden/Hawke, and elf, will try to prevent this as Warden/Hawke appreciated having Sandal around.

I have no quarrel with Flemeth. I reluctantly killed her in DAO because she was about to posess Morrigan. And I had no choice. I don't think Flemeth will try to do that again and I don't think Flemeth will make such stupid move. Not when I'm still around.

Teddiliza wrote...

Somewhere in this Tale, Morrigan and Flemeth will have it out, where Flemeth wants to rule the world, but Morrigan wants her baby to rule the world and give mages their freedom.

That's not what my Morrigan said to me when she wanted the baby. She said "Something must be preserved,"

Teddiliza wrote...

No. It make no sense for my Warden and Morrigan's story.

Thanks for the post Sacred Fantasy! : No Dark Ritual= No OGB In that case, the alternative would be Morrigan adopting a child with Magical talents much like Flemeth adopted her. I have not played Witchhunt yet, so have only seen the possible endings. I do remember Morrigan saying 'Power has meaning'. In this case, I would substitute the Qun for the 'new religion'.

Personally I would support Flemeth in a fight between her and Morrigan. She's saved my character twice now.

Morrigan will just leave the Warden if he refuses to sleep with her/doesn't convince Alistair. Wow, guess friendship doesn't mean much.
