you: the last time idid something like this my game data got deleted
Rahul: No, it will just clear the console cache.
you: that will delete my game files
Rahul: No, it will not.
Rahul: You have to just select the game data utility instead of sava data.
you: you're telling me to delete my patches and DLC content
you: thats what under the game data utility

I completely sympathise with your frustration but getting angry and swearing etc isn't going to get you anywhere. The guy on the other end of the chat in that example was just following whatever process he's supposed to follow, and deleting the game data is about the only thing he can tell you to do by way of technical support.

You don't lose your character data but you'd have to install the patches and DLC again. Yeah, that's a pain in the ass but IMO it's worth a try.

If you've spent actual money and not received what you were promised in return then I suggest you send an e-mail complaint to whoever it is that took the money and didn't give you the goods. By the sounds of it, PSN sold you whichever and due to connection/ a server glitch or whatever, you weren't able to redeem it. Whoever is responsible for the glitch is the one that owes you the money. Bioware? EA? Origin?

If you're looking for reimbursement, what you need to do is follow the advice of the advisor instead of fighting against it. I know from experience that customers who refuse to follow standard procedure get nothing in return.

I don't mean anything against you, and I totally understand your anger (I would be too), just giving you some friendly advice. I hope the situation works out for you.

It actually doesn't delete anything but the DLC and once you re-download it, nothing has changed.
