Hi

I am at the battle against the spirit warriors in the Anvil of the Dead. My party consists of

Human Warrior Noble (Me)
Offensive Mage (Morrigan)
Leliana (My chest opener)
Ohgren(Not wanted but no choice in this mission)

I am struggling in the mission with the face in the middle that spins after you kill a spirit a warrior and you hit an anvil which causes damage to the statue in the middle. I can just about handle the spirits, but the death clouds or whatever it is that comes from the statue combined with the warriors is killing my party. I normally have Wynne as my partys healer but ditched her when forced to take Ohgren. The problem is i am very very short for health poultices and wanted to go back and replace Leliana with Wynne. However the exit back out of the Anvil of the voids seems to be blocked now. So i am stuck with a Dwarf i don't want and a Rogue i want to replace with a healer' but can't due to a blocked exit.

Any ideas?

I think you need another warrior, I had Allister as well. Ohgren is usless as **** on a bull. The comming battle with Branka and the Golems will kill you.

Ohgren can hold his own if you set up his tactics decently. Be sure to put a check in the first tactics slot of Self: Health

Of course, also give Ohgren decent equipment. You should have at least one weapon you can give him, and his armor may be ok or you may be able to give him an upgrade or two.

On Nightmare mode, Ohgren in my party (with all female - PC mage DPS, Lelianna archer, and Wynne healer) killed Branka himself while I took out the golems (this is the battle after where you are at, as mentioned by Grog415). In the battle with the spirit statue, Ohgren and I took it out.

Be sure to stock plenty of healing and lyrium, of course. For mages, add a second tactics slot to take a least powerful lyrium potion when Mana/Stamina

You can also make use of the lyrium veins poking out of the cave floor here and there, as well as the outcroppings for shelter (but the latter is temporary as you must go to the anvils to hit the statue, anyway).

If you can't handle it then decrease the difficulty for that moment but this is not suggested. What is suggested is that you find a way to solve this your self with the party brought.



Tip : Oghren is useful to take down at least one foe(most likely instant kill) with his final blow and since he automatically has the feat to go against golems, he is useful in this situation.

Like i said earlier i am low on poultices and cannot leave the level to change my party. In short i seem screwed.
