So damned easy, lost shields only once.

I did a couple trial runs a few days before the op started with the same character & equipment one against cerberus and the other against geth both on Glacier, on the geth one i got the 1-2-3-4 on all three objective waves, which was a pain.

If there's one lesson to take from this thread, it's that I need to get me a kroguard...

I've spent the afternoon failing to solo a damned thing. Closest I got was getting Ravager + Brute sandwiched on the last of 4 devices on wave 10 playing my fury.

I soloed bronze with geth engineer. (geth shotgun/geth smg)
i used strong hold gear lvl 5, and shields lvl 4 of the consumable gear
Reapers/Giant. piece of cake. 3 shot ravagers and brutes, 4 shot a banshee lol

missions were: upload / disable devices / upload

The last upload was in the open area of Giant in the middle of the map. I decided to take care of all the bosses first ( they have limited spawn) then I was left with a horde of cannibals. I cornered myself in some odd position lol and managed to survive, using my turret as distraction

Enemy: Geth, you're right, they're the easiest!
Difficulty: Bronze - This was my second ever solo, my first was yesterday with a QFI (Which I extracted)
3/6/10: Nodes, Hack, Hack

The only 'trouble' was on the last Node, I got swarmed midway, managed to finish and quickly charged my way across the map and got full shields back. Other than that it was a breeze.

Thanks to small maps, awesome character and good objectives did it in 12 minutes

I had so much fun soloing with the Shadow that I did another solo run with the Fury, specced to 6/6/6/0/6. Firebase Giant vs. Cerberus on Bronze. Carnifex X with ULM and Piercing Mod. Warp Ammo IV, Pistol Rail III, Cyclonic Modulator IV, Shield Booster V, just to be safe. Hack / hack / hack. BEs with AF + Throw for everything except Phantoms, Turrets, and Atlases, which I Dark Channeled from afar and finished off with Throw, with some shots from the Carnifex during cooldowns.

I just charged->melee and repeat. If a group of them just BS behind a wall and charge the left overs. Made sure to kill the Primes last, with Wallbanging BS and or Talon X from cover. Manage a few PD at spawns for fun, its bronze so everything dies just so easy with any of the Shadow skills.

My setup:

Map/Enemy/Difficulty: Glacier/Cerberus/Bronze
Character: Quarian Male Engineer
Weapon: Harrier X (Only for Phantom or Atlas)

Used grenade gear V to grenade all the things, adrenaline mod I, disrupter ammo II, and targeting VI 1.

Objectives: 3x four devices

Took around 19 mins because of objectives. Almost went down on wave 10 after getting the last device, had to run from an Atlas that was tearing me up and ran right into 2 turrets in the basement. Used grenades and incinerate to take out 1 turret, ran on critical health around the corner to get shields back then took out the other and finished the rest easy.

I keep reading about The Unstoppable Kroguard, so I decided to give him a shot. Never deployed one before. Vanguard class was at level 16, so I followed the standard no carnage build and threw him into U/U bronze. Weapon was Reegar X with shredder + ammo, gear was stronghold V (yeah, overkill, but what the hell). No ammo/weapon/armor bonuses.

First match: glacier, geth. Easy as pie. Hack, assassination, hack. Melted everything and beat the snot out of a couple of Primes. Great fun, never dipped into health.

Second match: dagger, cerberus. Even easier. 4 nodes, escort, hack. Atlas took a little longer to melt than I'd expected, but I was never in any danger.

Third: condor, reapers. 4 nodes, hack, hack. My least favorite map, but it was still easy. Saved banshees for last, kiting them around and then leading them up the hill, charging, shooting while backing away, reload, charge again, and so on. No instagibs; I guess I was a little lucky.

All in all, the love bestowed upon the kroguard is duly warranted. I'll roll with this guy for a while (hosting, of course).

Before the challenge started, i did my 1st solo run, just to see if i could do it. So, Shadow, bronze, cerberus, FB Giant = completed. So i was confident.
Today, tried the same thing, died a couple of times around wave 8-9, one time in wave 10, pizza delivery. So i decided to try another character. Did some matches, lost all of them, even worse than with my shadow xD

Shadow was my only character at level 20, the closest was vanguard, but i thought it would be suicide, cause i don´t even have a kroguard.
But hey, i lost with everybody else , so i decided to try something i read somewhere, a vanguard without charge.
So, Asari vanguard, only used stasis, lift grenade, rinse and repeat. Glacier, cerberus, boom, mission completed =D

The secret to my success was Arc Grenades with Grenade Gear equipped. I basically just ran circles around the map to ammo boxes. Had a moment where I had to leave the drone to avoid just getting swarmed from all sides (on the ground, left side of the map), so I had to kite a little. That was a furball. The location hack was in that spawn point to the left of the map, so I had to clear that out first. That got a little tense.

Gonna do another one later on tonight with the vaunted Kroguard.
