I googled this problem and it seems common (which is VERY surprising considering how long this game has been out), but my searches hasn't shown me a reliable way to fix this frustrating issue. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks in advance for the help!

So I just bought the deluxe edition game brand new, installed it, and already have problems from the start. No matter what I do, the game can't connect to the EA servers (its been almost a week since I've installed the game). I can log into Origin just fine and I downloaded/patched all the Deluxe Edition DLC through them, but nothing in the game is authorized (why did I pay extra for deluxe when I can't use it?!?) and I can't even try out multiplayer.
I googled this problem and it seems common (which is VERY surprising considering how long this game has been out), but my searches hasn't shown me a reliable way to fix this frustrating issue. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks in advance for the help!

You can either try the 'Repair Install' option;
Then, you can try running a clean boot - from MSCONFIG, hide all microsoft services and disable the rest.
If that doesn't work, manually uninstalling ME3 (look online for instructions, should be on help.ea.com) and reinstalling under a completely new admin account.
EA told me to try disabling the SSDP and UPnP device host in services.msc - that may work for you, it didn't for me.

I'm having the same problem. Lots of others are too but there's no fix from EA. Now that the Shepard part of this franchise is done, I'm not starting anything else that involves EA, it's just too much hassle. I live in a rural, mountainous area and while the internet coverage should be consistent, it isn't which means that I constantly have problems with the wretched EA; my game freezes in mid session then runs fine for 10 mins then freezes again. Now it doesn't work at all. Way to go.

This is apparently a VERY common problem, other people who had this issue started threads like this: http://social.biowar...7448/5#14797204
and this: http://social.biowar...932/13#14797212
And this: http://social.biowar...#14877874......
Good luck getting a response that fixes it, EA has been hiding of late.
