Miranda's derrier isn't exantly 'giant'. It's prominant, sure, but suits her body type. I also feel that her outfit is a good visual representation of her character... the white one especially.
The cut and hexagonal pattern give off a very clinical vibe, which is fitting considering her willingness to kill her best friend after he betrays her, even though she can later be made to admit she'd have regretted it.
It also demonstrates her confidence, but at the same time gives off an air of vulnerability... which is also fitting, considering her issues in regards to the way she was brought into the world.
When i look at miranda, i see that, and not 'a giant arse'. It's a shame that not all are as enlightened in their perception of women as i am.
Also, it's the reasoning behind the hair change that is the problem.

Except they never said "voting over that's it", they said "here are the results from round one round two starts soon"blacqout wrote...
Yep. That is impossible.
Were it the intention all along, we would have been clearly told that we were voting on 'skin colour and hair style'. So what... if the black model won, they'd have held a secondary poll with the same skin tone and hair cut, but with six different colours?
Don't be ridiculous.
This thread is ridiculous, I'm done.

I dont really care if they changed her hair from blonde to red because of the fans. It shouldn't matter because if you dont like it you can easily change it when you play the game.
As for Tali, I dont see the change to be that big of a deal. She came off as a kid in the first game and grew up the next time we met her. Which makes sense. Her pilgrimage and her being part of the team to take down Saren would influence her and make her more mature.

Uh, yeah, they are. It's still gross for a 29 year old to have intercourse with a 16 year old... even if it is perfectly legal in my country.

You know Blacqout it seems every post I see from you is along the lines of "I'm so much better than everyone else and my view and my view alone is the correct one." It get's old and boring very quickly to be honest.
For Tali if you except natural aging while Shepard was "dead" then the relationship has the chance to grow due to the couple of years she's experiencing. Others have pointed out the factors of alien aging and the suit as well as reasons for the changing voice. There's also life experience I would think. How quickly do Quarians on the Flotilla grow up mentally when they live in ships that may break down or the risk of disease that could kill them. I would think that they would be more world wise than a comparable human of the same age simply because of how they have had to live.
As for miranda, you want to argue about that argue about why Bioware picked camera angles that showed off her "giant arse". Surely that is a great issue against women then a hair colour

That's funny, because I remember that she said that she was considered a mere child by other asari in ME1. Also, quarians start their pilgrimages at the age of young adulthood. Tali is not considered an adult by her society due to her incomplete pilgrimage in ME1, not because of her body's age.
Oh, and learn what retcon actually means for once, BSN. It's just getting sad at this point. For it to be a retcon, then there must be some established facts that have been altered or treated as if they don't exist. If they had clearly mentioned Tali's exact age in ME1, THEN it would have been a retcon. But they didn't.
Besides, do you really think they would send teenagers out on a journey, which purpose is to gather supplies and other utilities to return with to the fleet to prove that the pilgrim can be a contributing member of their society, into the dangerous galaxy? What would that accomplish besides getting that kid killed? Wouldn't it be more efficient to send out adults that can defend themselves after receiving a few years of training and judge what is good for both them and the fleet?

I haven't outwardly stated that i find myself superior to anyone. If it comes across that way, perhaps it's a distinct possibility that i actually am.
Like i've said a dozen times already, there are many ways in which the player can 'headcanon' it, and have Tali age naturally. However, in our hearts, we know that BioWare used a very common tactic within the film world, and applied some human traits (voice) to an alien being in order to tell the player things about that alien, personally, without actually telling them.
Her voice was purposefully high because she was originaly intended to be much younger than she was later retconned into being.
And no. I think it's more insulting to blonde women to say 'yep, you won the poll but the people feel a blonde woman isn't realistic as a badass heroine, so tough we're changing it'.

Yes, a retcon, like what BioWare did with Tali's age in ME2. They decided to overwrite an established aspect of her characterisation.

Thread crying misogyny and no mention of Ashley, Jack's nipples, or sexy EDI cameltoe? OP may wish to research issues that actually made women uncomfortable. Not whining about Tali's age.

Tali's age has nothing to do with the misogyny aspect of my post. That was a mere sidepoint, on how BioWare have a record of altering their games to the tastes of aspects of the audience that could rightly be described as undesirable.
A multitude of blonde women complained about the way the blonde Shepard was treated, on this very forum and throughout the blogosphere. A great many reblogged a post i made on the issue expressing support.

It's extremely noticeable between 12 and 16, for example, but it is still noticeable between 20 and 24, 30 and 50, and so on.
Her voice got deeper. Listen to Robin Sachs in KOTOR (Saul Karath), then listen to him in Mass Effect 2 (Zaeed), then 3. His voice gets lower each time (and no, I'm not talking about the gravel in his throat when he voices Zaeed).

I think that's a bit of a stretch. I wasn't saying that to anyone in particular, and it's patently true that a lot of people look at Miranda and see little more than a 'piece of ass'.
My post implied that a great many people are just as enlightened in that regard as i am.

The developed world through out the rules when they embraced the sexual revolution. I guess liberation and empowerment only counts when women have sex with whoever they want. Older guys are creepers while older women are cougars.

I don't deal in absolutes, unlike some of you. It is possible that a percentage of people act in one way, while another act in a different way.
The problem is that BioWare are listening to the people that act... sub-humanly.

You seem to have a bit of a chip on your shoulder about women being treated more favourably in some regards.
