This is my theory about **** players.
1. It's summer and all the retard kids are out of school
2. We all hate playing with random **** players if we are good (and love playing random if you ARE a  **** player I suppose) and thus send other competent players friend invites thus phasing out the crappers completely unless on random
3. I'm better than everyone so imagine how I feel when in a match with you.

2. True. Team AreleX has 200 amazing players, all from 360. Very few of us head into public games.
3. If that were true wouldn't you be well known like zHHk, AreleX, GodlessPaladin, Spectre, Invaderone, Stentron and Ashen Earth?

Man I still get a kick out of "unless you're well known on BSN, you aren't all that." Believe it or not, there are awesome players who treat this as it is, a freaking video game. Exploits are not posted on YouTube. They could give a rats ass about in game stats of what weapon does what or what the latest build works.

So yes. There are tons of great players out there that doesn't even knows this site exists.

There's also twice as man utterly useless players who need to camp FBWGG and ruin the overall pug experience. If you can't run a Condor Gold then please stick to Silver... or at least seek help from players who are better you. (I did the latter)

No I'm not, I'm saying they ended 4 days ago... so if this issue is still consistent then it isn't the kids (though they do aggravate it)
You should join since your on 360. If you're good then you might as well. If you're bad then you can only get better.
Since we're both on 360 I would love to get into a game with you. It's always nice to meet a non-Team AreleX  members who isn't incompetent.

Perhaps, a change of perspective is in order: see other randoms (especially those that do not use equipment on Gold) as a breed of cannon-fodder, or bullet stoppers, if you will.

You've gotta be trolling? The Join Team AreleX forum is currently on the front page, a month ago you couldn't even log on without seeing a zhk3r (zHHk on Origin, LaCokaNostradamus on YouTube) or AreleX (Arelexxx on YouTube) thread dedicated video. And Invaderone and Stentron (Strenton?) are now posting duo Platinum and Golds rather often. GP is and AE are the kings of the elitists and Spectre is one of the best soloers around (gvg on youtube)

It is worth noting that all but three have pretty much stopped enjoying the game.

I had a theory that, if you camp with the campers, they actually kill stuff and do objectives. I was wrong... But yeah it is always nice to know where the enemies are so I can flank them.

IMO playing with randoms makes you a better player. You won't get a lot better if the three other guys are annihilating everything in their paths.

A man with common sense. It's also noteworthy that, one of the main reasons this game gets boring fast IS playing with friends or on teams. The game is infinitely easier. 

By the way, speed runs is just speed farming. So to tell peeps to stick to silver because all they do is farm, is just laughable. I can count on one hand how many times I farmed and that's only because it's a nightmare trying to find a random match on Goldor Platinum that isn't.

So yes, I'm a non team, non farming, competent player who plays an unconventional game (meaning I forget what cover is, so death is nothing new to me, but I'm always near cover or in close proximity for revival). I like playing pugs. Randoms are randoms. Some will suck, some won't, it's the joy of not knowing that keeps my interest.

If they are such a terrible burden why play with them at all. It sounds like you and you freinds are leet and could just play the match by yourself. Or is it possible that you are not good enought to play without a random to help you?

I sometimes get the impression some very good players are rather biased in their perception of skill, thinking that every average or even fairly competent player is crap simply because they're nowhere up to their level.

I think you should substitute "random" with "leecher".
I usually can only play PUGs, most friends aren't playing or aren't on. Though when I do go on a Gold match, I *always* go in to win, hell, even on silver, I 'll burn all 5 rockets, medgel, you name it, if it means its a win. Don't care if its not "profitable", I AIM TO WIN.

But yeah, I feel you, way too often I see a team mate rather bleed out than to use a single damn medgel or not rocket even with 4 banshees in groping distance.

When playing with randoms on Gold/Plat, you should be ready to solo a wave or two late in the game. You will get randoms with various levels of skill and intelligence, and it is hard to tell their skill level in the lobby. Even high N7s with high-leveled URs have performed poorly in some of my games.

What annoys me are the leechers, people who refuse to medi-gel/use rockets, and those who do not help on the objectives. Otherwise you are good. Everyone has their bad moments and/or need more experience.

I have no idea what any of that is either, but that probably is because of the fact that I never pay attention to people posting videos about solo runs and similar things. As a reply to the topic, complaining about the "randoms" on the forums won't solve anything and I doubt that most of them are even here. If it truly bothers you that much you can always look for friends on the forums so that you don't have to play with randoms every time.
