I posted this a while ago but got no response. Still not sure what causes it but when using the quick save on the xbox i get the message saying 'insufficiant space'.
Anyone else run into this annoying bug?

Update: Still not sure what the cause of the bug is but it seems deleting the Quick Save in Modio fixes it.

How excatly are you saveing your game out of curiousity. I think long time ago i think I read a few people posts where they were not saveing the game on a hard drive or somthing or had DLC's on other devices. I am not sure what people's suggestions where/are since honestly it's a while i've seen a game save issue here.
I usually save on my Hard Drive....Not sure if my info helps.

I am saving to a USB stick which has 12gb free. If the number of allotted saves is tighter with a USB storage device then that's pretty lame.

I think the USB device may be the problem. i think i have read posts of people saveing their games n such on a USB device and been getting problems like Quick save issues, achivement gains, EA log in problems, DLC detections, the works. Sadly i don't remember everyones suggestions. I would have to dig around a post or two here on this message board to see what people suggest doing or remain hopeful here and see if anyone would come up with a way to fix your problem.

I moved my save file to the HDD and still get the "quick save failed" message after i create a 9th save in my career.

I would question a couple of things to see that opens up any solutions.
The first is the use of Modio. Are you using that in any other capacity other than what you have stated here? The worry is that the use of Modio may have messed things up if you have.
The second: for the given Career (specific character) how many save files have you got? Even a minimal saver is likely to have two at the very least (the Mission Restart and autosaves), quick save takes one slot and then there are the manual saves. You state 9th save, is that 9 separate manual save files? (If so, then there may be a limit to the number of saves allowed.)

I only used Modio to extract the save and change a few minor things via Gibbed(nothing too invasive).

I had 8 manual saves, after i created a 9th that's when the quick save error started showing up.

I created a new Gamertag to see if I could replicate the quick save problem you had, but even with more than a dozen saves no problems emerged for me. Bugs should be able to be replicated, so I'm tending towards a glitch in and of itself; not any consolation though.
Have you checked the mod threads for advice? I have to admit my own gut feeling is that it could be something to do with having tampered with the saves, as harmless as the alteration may seem to be. It is worth at least checking to see if anyone knows of any such issues if only to rule them out.
