This happens to me as well. 2 different ISPs. Running a SSD for hard disk. This is the only game where the load screens (for multiplayer) are agonizingly long.
I don't even know where to begin diagnosing this, because I think it's EA's/Bioware's problem

It's nothing to do with your local setup.
EA has an extremely convoluted authentication system which takes ages to validate the content you're allowed to use.

play in windowed mode you will see it enters the not responding state every time it transfers from one menue to another, entering lobbies exiting lobbies entering mp entering main menue entering store and some times even entering games (those are often wiht a disconect though) its a problem introduced by the patch where they removed a none existant memeory leak on pc (well like 10 players had one which must of been down to there pc's) now we all have one oh the joys

It's their ****ty network. Everything loads slow because every ****ing menu in the game has to connect to their servers before you can access it. It wasn't this bad when the game initially came but it's always been an issue. It's neither your ISP nor your hardware. It's BioWare's incompetence that is to blame. Not that they give a ****, anyway.

I have never seen any piece of software with load times this agonizingly long. And there's no feedback either.
