Say what you want, LucasShark is right. It's a narrative atrocity.
Throw a villain that change the plot completely out of nowhere, and AFTER THAT IS KNOWN, put foreshadowing....
Oh well, it's people with a delusion that they are artists, and hence anything they release is art.

Well, most artists are poor, too. So they must be turning right.

What change? Before Catalyst.....Reapers are exterminating technological life. After Catalysts... Reapers are still exterminating technological life.
