I just bought Dragon Age: Origins for Xbox 360 and I got the limited edition version because I wanted to get my hands on as much DLC as possible.
When I tried to enter the promo codes on the game menu, I was repeatedly told that my codes were invalid. I read something about EA having server troubles, so I assumed that the issue would clear up pretty soon.
I then tried to enter the codes on this website, and I was still unsuccessful, but for a different reason. Apparently  the codes I have entered are invalid because they have already been used, which I know to be untrue because I bought a new copy of the game.
Is this an issue that has happened to anyone before? Could anyone give me any advice on resolving this problem?
I would be eternally grateful to anyone who can shed some light on this

I had this problem and for me it was related to Vista; I have to start manually the Dragon Age Service everytime I want to play. To do this, go to Start, then "Run", then type "Services.msc" and find "DragonAge..." in the list. Then right-click and activate it. Also, you have to login in the game with the profile associated with the promo codes, but that one is pretty obvious.

Yea that is Vista's user control restrictions i think. In XP youre always Admin so it works. But i think he has a different problem, that he cannot enter codes at all.

I ordered the game on Sunday from Amazon, it arrived on Wednesday, and since then, Ive been trying to download the Stone Pridoner DLC, and it doesnt let me. Says the code is invalid. I downloaded the Blood Dragon Armor and the extra items just fine; Im only having trouble redeeming the Stone Prisoner code :S

Im gonna continue trying, and I hope they make public a solution very soon. I mean, we paid for the collector's edition and EVERYTHING that it included.

I'm not sure if this will help you or the OP but are you using the dash(-) mark in your codes? It worked for me on my xbox.It seemed kinda obvious after realising that the codes had 4 sets of numbers and letters than the normal 5.

I got my game from amazon too and it wont let me redeem either of the codes. I have tried to enter the codes in every way I can think of and I even had somebody else read them to me in case I was reading something wrong and still nothing...

I am having the same issue with one of the codes to redeem the memory ring. All of the other ones have worked. I sent Bioware support an email on the 29th of November and have not got a reply.



I know this is relatively minor. I would be very angry if a major addon such as stone prisoner did not work. It would be good if Bioware could provide us with an official answer regarding these invalid codes. Perhaps duplicates were printed or there system hacked somehow.

Head to the official support page and check the info regarding problem or replacement codes. There is info there explaining how to get the problem fixed or new codes issued based on your purchase etc.

i already paid lot of monet for this game..... and i dont want to wast more is there any way to download this Stone Pridoner DLC for free............ i think its useless to wast more money...
