We've learned of the possibility of getting a fleet of ships if we retake Omega. Some don't like this, because they don't believe it'll matter much for the end of the game. It's another asset that didn't matter. So I'm thinking, instead of just making things assets that don't matter, future DLC like Omega should remind us that these are people or places that we are or not trying to save. And our actions can lead to their destruction, or continued existence.

Example, instead of just gaining Omega and Aria as an asset, we should also get the chance to possibly lose both to the Reapers. Once Cerberus is no longer controlling it, there's nothing stopping the Reapers to take it as a consequence for Shepard freeing it from Cerberus.

Aria considers herself Omega, and if being forced to lose Omega forever, she'd rather fight to the death to get it back, then let it get destroyed. It's why she left in the first place. So Omega wouldn't be destroyed, and she'd get it back later. But if Omega was put in a situation where it could get destroyed by the Reapers, I imagine she might stay to fight to the death, forcing Shepard to try and convince her not to stay, and possibly failing. And in order to keep Omega from being destroy, we have to sacrifice assets we already have. Or just abandon Omega.
