I've been trying to launch ME3 for the first time since spring, but nothing happens. I get a message that the game is launching and then nothing.
I tried Repair Install, and tried reinstalling the Origin folder. Nothing.
Origin won't launch Mass Effect 3

I've been having trouble getting the game to launch for the last couple days now as well. I get to the first EA logo vid, then crash to desktop. If I skip the vid and get to the "press any key to continue" screen, it crashes to desktop there. I've tried doing a "repair install" several times but it never helps.

So, I had this problem earlier today (the first 2 posters, not Animositisonima's post). What ended up fixing it for me, was doing a clean boot: see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135
disabling all non-microsoft services. After the clean boot it worked fine, I re-enabled everything and it still works. Hope that helps.
