Yes, this isn't new- you may ask for a bronze, you may seek a bronze, (to assist with the Weekend Objective,) but sometimes, the Game thinks that you need a change, something fancy and new.

So it drops the Silver-grade Fury player into a Platinum Glacier match.

Yey!

Two points:

a) To the Asari Justicar, (lbell.... something...) who used up every one of her medgels to make a heroic last stand against two Atlas', a Brute, a Ravager, (and I could hear a Phantom incoming,) Bravo!  Anyone else would see the cluster-f*ck and simply desist.  You sir/maam/TransgenderedPerson/Geth-Player-In-Disguise revived yourself and attempted to resist.  It may have been futile but it was inspiring!  (I, and everyone was dead, legitimately so.)

Which leads me to...

B) When the brave Justicar rose each time, the delay between risen-form and resuming character control was comparatively immense.  Each boss very quickly replayed their attacks and eliminated her within seconds.  This in itself is not new but it rather hampers a Heroic save- those hideous few seconds spent waiting for the character controls to become active again would be far better spent allowing us to auto-reach for the missile launcher.

Or Phase-Dodge.

Or Head-butt.

Or Cry Havoc! (And let slip the Vorcha of War...)

The point:  The game is built upon a Heroic story, a single person amassing a small group of companions and wreaking havoc amongst a vast enemy.

We should have that option to be so heroic- and not be restrained by a few crucial seconds of unnecessary animation/ control-delay.

If I can be insta-killed by a Banshee, even at times without animation, why can't I, and that brave Justicar whip out a missile immediately upon revival, to aid in our Victory?

/Rant.

That TL/DR thing: Revival Animations + Control delay/lag ruin our ability to quickly/ decisively respond to present enemy threats about our avatars.  All we ask is a few seconds....

:D
