I want to buy some DLC for both (Pc)mass effect 2 and (Pc)mass effect 3
but i dont want to mess around with what looks like a rip off and
problematic system.

i need a total of 1680 Bioware points to buy the DLC i wish to get and the problems/annoyances i face are:

a) cant buy an exact number of points they come in pre-defined
denominations meaning there is waste points leftover that i probably
wont spend

B) there seems to be a lot of people who have had problems buying points with paypal (both origin and bioware)

c) on both origin and the bioware site charge an extra quid (UK
Sterling) when you buy the 1600 points package compared to buying 2x800
points packages and i hear that its not possible to make a repeated
purchase one right after the other and the basket system of the origin
store does not allow to add 2 of the same points value to your
transaction

So what i want to do is buy the dlc outright with money or paypal (in my local currency)and not points
from a reputable outlet anyone know where in the uk or on the internet i
can do this?

both versions of the game are delivered via origin

For problem a) there is a solution: when you buy 3x 560 points, you get exactly 1680. The downside is that as far as I know the 560 points package has a really bad points/US-$ ratio, but it might still be cheaper than buying 800+400+560 or even 1600+400. I only have the € prizes available which would come out the following:

3x560: 1680 points for 18€
800+560+400: 1760 points for 18€
1600+400: 2000 points for 20€

so even though you could get the exact amount, you can get leftover points without more money... I don't know how it is with US-$, but the prizes seem to be messed up anyway (I'm refering to what you say in c) ).

Hey I just bought Dragon Age: Origins-Ultimate Edition and Dragon Age II as part of the Dragon Age Bundle through Gamestop App. I'm just wondering why we need to redeem the DLC, shouldn't it all ready be on the disc (in the Ultimate Edition).

Sorry, have no idea whatsoever what Gamestop might be selling. These forums, other than for ME-3 and the upcoming DA-3, aren't actively monitored by any Bioware people any more, and even when there was some interaction, it was irregular, and NEVER on weekends. You will be better off asking Gamestop what they are selling than to hope one of the few gamers who may drop in here will know an answer.

Since the OP posts are old I think I notice you and anybody: on Origin in EU region (euro) Bw points costs are dropped!
800 BW points is 8 euros and 1600 BW points 16 euros. It's now more equal to dollar price and on Origin you can use promo code too.
