Hey there lads!

I just started playing Dragon Age. It seems quite awesome so far! But I got a question I have yet to find a anwser to.

When you create your character you're given the ability to choose a few skills for your character. (I'm a warrior, but that's not relevant for this question)

So i've chosen what I think will suit me best.

My question is: Are you able to change your "Skill-tree" As I call it? Let's say i'm using a shield right now so i get tons of stuff in that, and one day I decide I want to go with a 2 handed wep. What do I do then? Can I just unlearn the others and pick new skills or am i screwed?

Thanks in advance!
Merry Christmas all!

The only way to do what you are thinking is to download one of the many mods for respec'ing characters that are available in the toolset. If not, you will have to re-roll your character.

Ah.. That's rather lame :P

One would assume you're given the ability to change your spec if you already put alot of hours into the game and decide something else would suit you beter..

What would you guys suggest as warrior? I won't use mods, So i have to make the right decision.

Right now i'm using a sword/shield.  I want something that does nice damage but can also take alot of damage.

Games like Dragon Age don't typically have respec options. Or ever, really.

If you want to, you can download a user made mod for the pc version to do so. Other versions, well no.

But, the game is replayable because you play one type of character (in a party with 3 others) and then go through and play again with a different character and different party members.

Well, 2-handed swordsman do the most damage by far. Best way to survive is to pump the strength and the dex on the your warrior and then put the best massive armor on him with any +defense that you can find.

Or you can go the Arcane Warrior route. I haven't played one but I've heard you can really dish out the damage and survive with that specialty.
